Do you know how much it sucks needing a Hammer and Not having one? I had to use a large dumbell as a Hammer several times which put a real strain on my back. My hammer jobs were just the bare minimum and there were many a precarious position I was in with that dumbell until enough was enough and I got a hammer.Do you know the joy of finally having a hammer? The feeling of power welling within you as you start finding every damn nail that offended you and sending it crashing into the wall? Now of course after the initial Hammering I find I have little need for the hammer but I will never again be caught without one.I think it is a good hammer. I mean as far as hammer shaped tools go it does the job it was made to do without difficulty. There isn't much more to say about a hammer though one wonders why Amazon feels we would want to review every single item we buy... Like I want to sit down and give a plastic spoon or something 5 stars? Like it save my life or something? Silly really, instead of a five star thing should just have yes or no. Are you happy you bought it? Yes/No. There done. end of story. What should I do, spend hours telling a life changing story about how a pen I bought for $2.50 helped me write the great American novel?But that's just me trying to hammer a point home......:D ba'dum'tish'!!!

Nice inexpensive claw hammer.
Nice inexpensive claw hammer. Wish it had the notch in one of the claws for small nails and staples.

Handle problems
They look like a great hammer for their value but the rubber handel does not stay on i bought 6of these at least 3 or more the handles have come off
