A valuable guide
I bought this book to research the air bases in this area, in readiness for my visits while on holiday. I found the book very comprehensive and a valuable guide, so I enjoyed my visit all the more for having read about the bases beforehand. Very interesting indeed, I learned a lot.

A must read for WW2 aircraft enthusiasts
As the graphic designer who produced this book (for the author) I can recommend it as a well written & informative history of what was RAF Cark based in Flookburgh village in South Cumbria. There are over 200 photographs & illustrations both from the war era and contemporary to show parts of the airfield still remaining today.
