Good night lights
These do the job nicely. We have a few scattered around our house, for our children and senior dog. They are small enough to be portable, and blend in with the decor. I like that they are rechargeable, so that they can be placed anywhere. They are also magnetic, so we put them on corners by the baseboard, and they stick well. The brightness is satisfactory, not bright enough to wake the whole house, just enough to see where you’re going. A good product for the cost. Motion activated, so it’s not always running.

Really works and battery life is superb!
This arrived on Jan 30. I charged the one device full in a couple of hours and turned it on. It's now March 12 and still going strong. I've placed this on a short staircase that could use a little light when going down in the dark so I don't have to turn on the light. It senses motion well in the dark and turns itself on. It has a wide-angle sensor and I've never come near it without it turning on. Now, regarding some comments about brightness. In a dark room, a little light goes a long way. What do you expect, a floodlight? This is not what this is for! If you have an area, such as a staircase, where some footlights in the dark would be helpful (not to mention be safe) these can be placed anywhere. They are small enough that you could even put them on the stair step itself along the wall (who's going to trip on a small object placed next to the wall?). They are perfect for those kinds of environments like stairs where there is usually no outlets. Next, a comment that many people have made about the lousy sticky tape to attach the metal plate to the wall so you can then attach the magnetized light to it. Many commented that it'll ruin the wall and rip the paint or wallpaper off. Don't use it then. Why risk it? I have a railing going down the stairs and I attached a nearly-invisible nylon filament to the light and hung it on the posts that secure the railing to the wall. All you see is the little light and it lights up as you pass by. If you are concerned with a Better Homes and Gardens image, then hire an electrician to install multiple outlets a/o a lighting system. If not, these lights will do just fine. I absolutely recommend these little guys for placement in areas where you need a little light and there's no outlet. I think they are excellent for placing along stairs or in bathrooms or perhaps closets where you just want some light without having to bother turning a light on - or, don't have a light. I'm impressed by the battery life. UPDATE SEPT 2, 2024: These lights are STILL working on the SINGLE, two-hour charge on Jan 30, 2024. That's SEVEN MONTHS of continuous use (not continuously ON but continuous motion sensing and turning on when anyone passes by, which is scores of times a day).... still going strong! UPDATE NOV 3, 2924: The light FINALLY went out and it needed to be recharged. That's NINE MONTHS of constant use on a single, 2 hour charge on Jan 30, 2024! Outstanding! These things work, they work well, and they work for a long time. Excellent product!

Fantastic Cruise Nightlight, and for everyday use too!
I've had these nightlights for 4 years and they are still going strong! The light has 2 settings, bright and dim and they light up a small hallway well. They are well made, sturdy and are rechargeable. We travel with them and have never had one break. If you want to put the on a wall they come with a metal wall plate that comes with an adhesive strip to apply the plate to the wall. The night light attaches to the metal plate with a magnet. You can also just set this down on a table or counter. They last a long time on a charge. You can set it to off, on, or motion sensor when dark. I use the motion sensor. I have these in my house to light up dark hallway and it works well. We don't use the hallway at night very often and had to recharge it about every year. We also use these when travelling. The are small and easy to pack. You can stick them on the counter in the bathroom to give you light without needing to turn the big light on. My only qualm is that it doesn't stay on quite long enough. The remedy is to wave your arm and it goes back on. The place where this really shines (pun intended) is on a cruise ship. Cruise ships are made of metal and this baby sticks right on the wall wherever you want to put it. I put one outside the bathroom door down low to light the floor on the way to the bathroom and one inside the bathroom. You could even stick one inside the closet. All in all I am very pleased with this night light.

Awesome night sensor lights
Small but very functional with a long battery life. Had to buy them again. Sticks well on flat surfaces. Very sturdy. Brightness is good enough to see in the dark. Has 3 options: off, on and auto function which senses movements and turns on or off. Senses movement easily and at least 5ft away. Senses lights and daytime and doesn’t come on, only comes on when it’s dark or there is less lightening. I bought them a year ago and I’ve only charged them at least two or three times. Comes exactly as the photo and package well with 4 lights and a type A charging cable. I usually charge it on my entertainment center that has a usb port and it’s takes a couple of hours to charge. Definitely worth the money, definitely recommend these lights. Also makes a great gift.

Reliable Magnetic Puck Lights for Nighttime RV Navigation, Lacking Red Light & USB-C Option
These motion-activated puck lights land at 4 stars for me since the rechargeable design and simple magnetic setup made them a solid temporary fix for portable lighting in tight spaces, though I’d prefer a red light option and USB-C instead of micro USB. Battery-powered puck lights like these get placed in low-light areas such as closets, stairs, or RVs to trigger on motion for hands-free illumination, often under cabinets for kitchen tasks or in the bathroom for late night trips. They're popular for renters or travelers avoiding wired installs, sticking to metal surfaces or cabinets to light paths during power outages or late hours. Housed in durable plastic with built-in magnets for attachment to included steel plates (which have adhesive backs for any surface), each 2.2-inch light runs on a rechargeable battery delivering ~12 lumens of white light (2700K) with motion detection up to 20 feet and auto-off after 20 seconds. This was helpful when I was living in an RV, since outlets were always where I needed a light at night. They were reliable, without false triggers, and the batteries lasted a while when used for steps or the bathroom at night. Ease of install is a breeze with peel-and-stick plates, no tools required, and remained durable even during bumps while relocating the RV. The magnetic system really simplifies things—you slap the steel plate anywhere with its sticky backing, and the light snaps on securely for repositioning on a whim. If you already have a metal surface, the light might just stick to that without the sticky mount. You can also just grab the light and pull it away from the mount if you need to use it like a flashlight to find something. That long-lasting battery meant fewer recharges during trips, shining steadily unless the spot saw nonstop foot traffic and didn’t have much ambient light. They performed as promised back then, popping on just when needed for those midnight stumbles without overkill brightness. On the flip side, the per-light cost around $6.75 feels steep, especially since I've swapped them out for a 6-pack of EZVALO under-cabinet lights at $5 each that also does 12 RGB colors beyond white, has a remote control, and dimming for more versatility. I kept wishing for a red light mode to dodge the blue wavelengths in white LEDs, which can rev up cortisol (your stress hormone) and dial down melatonin (the sleep promoter) at night, essentially fooling your body into daytime mode and messing with rest quality—red light sidesteps that by staying in the calming spectrum. Plus, the micro-USB port feels dated – I would have preferred USB-C. At $31.07 with taxes for the 4-pack, it edges toward fair for the magnetic ease and reliable motion tech that backed my 4-star view at the time, but today's market has undercut it with multi-color rivals at lower per-unit prices, making this more of a holdover than a standout buy unless you're locked into white-only basics. These fit folks in RVs, tiny homes, or kid-focused setups needing movable, cordless night guides, especially if white light works for your needs—though for hormone-friendly options, hunt red-mode upgrades to preserve melatonin without stress spikes. If basic, no-fuss pucks suit your portable needs without color demands, they're worth considering as a starter set, but I’d personally scout the cheaper lights with more options.

STILL GREAT AFTER 5 YEARS - Sticks anywhere, Batteries last for months, Super-Great!
UPDATE March 2026: So funny! I was reading this review & really related to it, then noticed it was my own review! LOL. GF still moves things... STILL VERY HAPPY with these lights! They are really great. Even after 5 years the batteries are still great, I only charge them like 1x or 2x a year. Amazing night light. Always take at least 3 when traveling. GF now specifically requests to make sure we have some for any overnight trip. Had a power outage recently & wished I had more of these everywhere. They are so useful I am going to get more, at least enough to cover the stairs, and also for all the dark rooms. Def 5 Stars all the way! 2021: I am SO HAPPY with these little rechargeable, motion sensor lights!!! They are really awesome. When set to "auto", the lights only come on in the dark, only with motion. There is also an "On" & "Off" setting, plus a button for bright/dim. There is a very strong magnet on the back of each light, and they provide a square of thin metal with adhesive, so you can stick that metal square anywhere, and still easily pull the light off to recharge later. Very well thought out. Because they are rechargeable, you can literally put these lights anywhere indoors. There are never enough wall outlets, nor are wall outlets always where you'd want a night light. I used to stumble around the house in the dark to get to a light switch. When your SO is constantly moving stuff and has a tendency to leave things sort of blocking walkways, walking around in the dark can be very hazardous. So now I have 12 of these lights, and the house is SAFER. Its been 2 months and all the lights are still working great, none have even needed to be recharged yet. Not even the lights in the hallway that get the most action. The lights recharge by a standard USB cord - the popular mini USB, same as your blue tooth speaker uses. Each pack of 4 lights comes with 1 of those cords, but not the charger. Which you most likely already have several of. Some of the places I have been putting these motion sensor lights: hallway on the floor, stuck to metal floor lamp tube at waist high, under the bed, on fridge, dishwasher, stuck to metal wall outlet plate, on book shelves, in garage, & near doors. Some are down on the floor, but out of the way so they can detect motion, but won't get stepped on. I drilled a long screw into an inside corner so I could stick the magnet to the screw head at a 45 degree angle out from the corner, so the motion sensor covers the room well. I may get a few more lights to put on stairs, and in our camping trailer. The motion sensor seems to work about 20 feet away (maybe farther too), which is great. Lights turn off after 20 seconds. Batteries last for months. Low setting is great as a motion sensor night light. Good enough to see the floor without being too bright in your sleepy eyes. Or set it to the bright setting if you want. Your call. Anyway, our house is safer now, thanks to these great little lights. Recommended highly. They are fantastic. No downside.

Love!
Absolutely love these motion sensor night lights!. I have a multilevel house with two older dogs, one of which being a senior, who is starting to have some troubles with vision at night. I have these in the stairwells to offer better elimination, not only for us, but for the dogs to see better going up and down the stairs at night. These work incredibly well and a single full charge will last several months with regular use of them being triggered on at night. There are two lighting modes, bright, and less bright lol. Super easy to use and charge, however, I wish these were a type C charger versus a mini, just because type seas are far more common. They come with a magnet built into them, with a magnetic plate that you can stick directly onto the wall. I would love to purchase more to put in other places around the home, but they are a little bit more spending… If these ever go on sale, I will definitely be purchasing more!

Long battery life...amazing!
My review of AUVON Rechargeable Mini Motion Sensor Night Light... I bought these battery operated nite lights to replace one that died on me. I use the night light because I almost tripped and fell on my way to the bathroom :( I bought the 4 pack since I did not know how long the battery would last. I figured with 4 I could just replace it with a working one when the battery died. I received the item, charged, and installed it. It's been over a month and it's still working! What I like about this light versus my old one is this one has a sensor for light, darkness, and motion. So in the day time the light stays off. At night, it senses my approach within 6-12 feet away...nice! It comes with 4 lights and 4 metal stick on plates. The light has a magnet so it can go almost anywhere. It's not a strong magnet but it does hold the light in place. Charging it only takes about an hour. The light has 2 modes of strength. I keep it on the low setting and it's enough to light up the bathroom without being irritating. There is a switch on the light for on, off, and automatic. I really like this light and I can recommend it. UPDATE: It is now December 2025, one year since I bought these lights. I cannot express how much these little lights have helped me see in the darkness. I explained how long the charge lasts and I use only one at a time. I know it's hard to believe in this day and age that there are products that last...believe it with this light!! I have only charged 2 lights since last December. I cannot explain why these lights last so long. It blows my mind! Again, I can only recommend this brand and type of light. I can highly recommend these lights.

These are great!
These are a great item! 2 light levels are plenty, the modes work as they should, rarely need recharging, e.g. 5 months of motion detection mode for my first one that needed recharging. I love that they are magnetic as the door frames in my apartment are metal so I have the lights strategically placed in my hallway, kitchen doorway, and in my one particularly dark closet. This review is for the Auvon brand only. I paid about $40 for a 4 pack. Compare vendors for the best price.

Love these!
Oh, these are good! In my mum’s house, you have to walk the length of the kitchen from the dining room to get to the light switch, and that’s a good few steps in the pitch black. She had a couple of episodes where she panicked, as she was worried about tripping over something on the floor, so I set up a light that triggers as soon as she steps into the kitchen, and they work perfectly. The lights are small, sturdy, and look good. The light is warm, and although they don’t fill the room with light, it’s enough to get your bearings and to know that the floor is clear. You can set them up to be on, off, or motion triggered. Once triggered they stay on for about a minute, unless further movement is detected, which is perfect. They can stand alone, or they're light enough to be mounted on a magnetic plate. My lights arrived with some charge, and I always take that to be a good sign, as they’ve held onto that charge from the factory. It is suggested that they will last for 180 days on the motion trigger setting, and you can’t argue with that. They arrive with a cable and they’re easy to charge. Great value for money and happy to recommend.

These are AWESOME
We didn't use the motion detection on them but had them on the dimmer setting. We used them on a cruise we just took. They have a magnet on the back so stuck to the metal walls of our room perfectly. We left it on all night on the dimmer setting so we could see to move around if we got up in the middle of the night. We had them both with us fully charged but only used one and it lasted all 7 nights without recharging. Not sure now much longer it would last. But it's awesome. Well worth the investment! Thanks!

Small but packs a punch of light
Can't fault these lights at all. It works as advertised. They are very small in size but can illuminate it's surrounds very well. I have one installed for my staircase and when it is switched on, the light can reach as far as about 5m away.
