terribly built product, "paid for" reviews, prompt customer service
One More Update:I've finally dropped my review to 1 star. I recently went on a 10 day trip expecting to take photographs during the day, and edit them on my laptop in the evenings. On day 3 of the trip, my power supply failed. Fortunately knowing the unreliability of these products I was carrying 2, but I've reached my breaking point with these. I nearly had to spend my photographic trip computer-less and unable to backup my photos because of an unreliable device. I am a very cheap individual and love the price on these, but I am now looking to buy anywhere but Pwr+ for my future power supplies. I have precisely 1 that works anymore and don't care to get replacements as I know I will have to have those replaced soon too. I wish it were better, but while I would go to Pwr+ in a heartbeat for price, I would go literally anywhere else if I wanted something that I could count on.Simply Put: - 3 of 5 power supplies failed in less than 6 months - Seller was very prompt in sending a replacement - Seller pays for good amazon reviews in a round-about wayMy conclusion - if you need a cheap one and can live with waiting for a replacement WHEN it fails, this is a barely passable product, but if you want something to last buy something else.Explanation of the "Seller pays for good reviews" claim:- I was offered a free additional power supply if I wrote a review. While they don't insist on it being a positive review, there is both no guarantee you would get your free power supply if you gave a bad one, and most people who review a product that they got at essentially a 2 for 1 price will give the review of its value at that price, rather than the price all future purchasers would receive, would review it in its first few weeks while it still worked well, and finally if they had to switch to their free "spare" whgen their original failed would be less likely to retract or modify their original glowing review. My Story:I like buying cheap 3rd party power supplies to save money, but it finally backfired on me with this product. I always have a few extra power supplies (Home office, couch, work office, work lab bench, backpack). I have owned 5 of these, and had one of them fail after only a couple months. The manufacturer was very prompt in offering a replacement and that part of the experience was excellent. Then another one failed, and then another. I am back down to 2 of these, and while I know that I can contact the manufacturer and ask for a replacement (and probably will), I have now experienced a 50% failure rate within the first 6 months. Furthermore, when the first one failed I thought it was just because it was being carried around in my backpack, but I have now had 1 fail which were literally taken out of the box, plugged into a surge strip behind my desk with the transformer box in a clear area, and yet just plugging into my laptop at the beginning of the day and unplugging it at the end of the day killed one power supply in a couple months. The price is right, and while they work they work well, but these seem to have a high failure rate, so I'm actually (grudgingly) looking into going back to Samsung original power supplies if I can't find a different seller, because I simply can't trust that if I carry this in my backpack it will work when I get where I am going. Finally, after receiving a replacement power supply I was offered to join their "review" team, where they would send me a complimentary power supply in return for writing a review of their product. I have a sneaking suspicion that this is a tactic used to get their unsatisfied customers to give them good reviews, and even if not probably accounts for a large number of their positive reviews. Rather In one sentence - great customer service, but a terribly built product.Their exact email offer of a free power supply:Thank you for purchasing Pwr+ product. We hope you are satisfied with our product and service. Please, contact us if you have any questions or concerns. They will be addressed immediately. In the meantime, we would like to send you free adapter (same as you purchased) to be used as a spare in exchange for your participation in our Power Reviewer Program. Works like OEM but....
I ordered this charger after my Samsung Chronos 7 15" charger died on me. The aesthetics and functionality are better than the OEM charger that comes with the laptop. I actually do like the bright blue LED in the charger, and the cord is also much longer than the OEM charger. This is a huge plus for me since my outlets are not very close to my couch, which is where I like to work and play on my laptop while watching some TV. The cord itself does feel a bit more flimsy, but that is not necessarily a bad thing for me so far. It makes it easier to wrap up if I need to take it somewhere. One concern I have is the charging brick. I know these tend to get warm, but I thought this one got quite a bit warmer than my OEM charger. If I have any temperature strips laying around, I will see exactly how warm it gets when I am charging my laptop while it is in use.Other then that, I like this charger so far. For $25, I would be happy with it even if it only lasted 3~5 months. As long as it does not start any fires, I will buy it again when it goes out.

Update works fine!!!
When it arrived I said "This is the one" it look nice and plastic was better quality. I plug it and it made a buzzing sound but it was charging I said "YEAHHH" but I celebrated to early. Second time I used it it made the same buzzing sound and it died. So it lasted 3 days.Update 7/24/17So the company sent me a replacement and this one actually works awesome. I have been using it non stop for about a month now and can't complait. The only thing is the plug in that goes in the laptop is a little to long but it works.Customer service was really good and took care of the issue quickly

Better than original
Bought as a replacement charger for my Samsung series 7 as the Samsung charger would only work intermittently. I am a college student and transport the laptop and charger with me to school 4 days a week. It gets wrapped up and tosses around all day and is holding up very well. There is an intigrated velcro wrap attached making for easy cord containment. This charger is several feet longer than the original and was worried about the extra length at first but has come in handy more than once already. Overall works like it's supposed to and was allot more affordable than buying a universal charger.

Good value, plug is a little different but works
I've been using this for over a month now and it seems to work fine. I like the cool blue LED as compared to the Samsung OEM one without any indicator light. It doesn't get hot and charges the laptop just fine. The price is GREAT compared to what Samsung wants. My only problem is that the plug doesn't insert as far as the OEM one. Thus there is about a 1/8th inch section of the plugs outer contact that is visible. I just put a bit of shrinkwrap tubing on the plug so it covers that section when it is inserted in the laptop.

Charges, but connector is loose
I have bought a Pwr+ AC adapter for an older laptop and was satisfied with the product. My son's new laptop power cord needed to be replaced, so I gave Pwr+ a try again. The replacement cord was delivered promptly and charges the laptop, however the connector is not a snug fit. With a little tug, the connector can be pulled out of the laptop. My son wants to keep the new adaptor, he doesn't care about the connection as long as it charges his laptop.UPDATE: See my review posted 8/30/13. Because of the service I received to remedy the problem, I've rated PWR+ 4 stars from 3.
