SoftubeConsole 1 Fader Hardware and Software Mixer

A well though out piece of kit. Quite a bit of duplication with the Console tasks but worth it for the faders alone.

I’ve been producing music for over 20 years and have always wanted something that felt like a real console. Softube nailed it with this one. It’s not perfect but it’s pretty close. I would say that if you have the console 1, fader 1 isn’t necessary but they do work great together and have sped up my work flow tremendously. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase. I have never left a review for any gear I have purchased and I’ve came across some awesome gear.

You will not go wrong with this. Takes creativity in mixing to a new level.

Hands-on control over the Universal Audio "Console" application; this gives me real-time, motorized fader control over my tracking and audio-inputs. Even has easy, automated, motorized access to send and cue buses — i.e. I can drag a slider to change the volume of a given track on my monitors, and hold the "Send 3" button and the slider instantly snaps instead to showing me the volume to my headphones, which I can then separately adjust with another finger.Just a breathtaking device. I love it.

Great hardware unfortunately neutered by subpar software. If it supported hui or Eucon this would be a game changer.

I was using the Faderport 16 in addition to the original Console 1 and thought I would try expanding the ecosystem that Softube laid out. I don’t regret it at all. It gives great functionality to the original Console 1 especially regarding drive, character and low/high cut. I find that I still go to the Console 1 for various moves as muscle memory won’t let me forget what I have been doing the past few years. The build quality is high and you shouldn’t even think twice about it. Get it!
