Excellent value, needs customization
First of all, I liked the product a lot overall. It's sturdy, it gives you a really good grip on the Kindle (whose smooth plastic shell is kinda slippery) and would probably protect my kindle if I dropped it (which I haven't yet, so cannot say for sure). I like the way it looks. There was however a problem, easily solved if you have a craft tool (i.e., something like a Dremel moto tool). The problem was that my wife and I (I got her the same cover for her Kindle) both had a problem using the power button. Pushing it on and off was tricky with the plastic cover intact. So I got my craft tool out and used a conical grinding bit (almost certainly the wrong bit, but it worked) to drill out and enlarge the hole over the power button. Afterwards, it looked kinda ugly when seen from straight on (see photo) but it is SO much easier to use the power button now, and when you're looking at the screen, you can't even see the mod. It didn't take long to make the mod but you do get bits of plastic sprayed around so do it somewhere where cleanup will be easy and don't wear a tuxedo like I did (long story).Later I did the same with the external volume controls because they are a pain to use through the plastic, too, and not all the Kindle software comes with onscreen volume controls.Anyway, with those mods, I'm happy as a lark with the cover, and it DID come at a great price.

Can’t beat a deal like this.
An excellent deal for $9.90. Came quick and it works as good as it looks. The case also has a raised edge that protects the screen. The tabs that cover the on/off and volume buttons work fine with a firm press and charging and headphone jack are easily accessible. I don’t use the stand but it is sturdy and works well as intended. I dropped my Fire 10 and the case did it’s job with no problems. Buy it.

Ok.. Jinky Kickstand
I’d say it’s not awful for the price. Bought 2 on a good sale.. the kickstands to keep up broke within a week. Purchased to protect the new kindle 10 inch kindles we bought for our young boys for travel and the kickstand was like the selling point for me. I’m still within the return time.. so I think I might send back for a replacement.

A Tablet Tank with Tough Buttons
First of all, this case is heavy and tough. It feels like it could stop a bullet. I got this to protect the tablet from my five year old, and his arms sag under the added weight such that his biceps are growing incredibly quickly and I fear I will have a hulk on my hands any day now.The biggest problem I have with this case is the buttons, which are extremely difficult to push. The power button often requires me to press down really hard (maybe the Fire Tablet just doesn't register my presses for a minute, I can't be certain). My son certainly can't adjust the sound levels or turn on and off the tablet without adult help. Maybe this is a pro, not a con, now that I think about it!At this price, as long as you are not suffering from any degenerative muscle diseases or need to store your tablet in a manila folder, I think this is an excellent case.

Good if it's on sale
This was a decent case for the money. It has ok grip even though the back is raised it is still fairly slippery. The kickstand is a nice feature if you don't have finger nails it will be hard to open the first couple of times though. The worst part of this case is that it barely has a lip on the front. I think once I put a glass screen protector on it will sit flush with the case.

So-so
It's fine for a cheap case, but that's just what it is, a cheap one. The hard back is hard to hold and it doesn't control the soft layer enough keep the cover as a whole firm and steady while holding the tablet in your hands. It's always rolling back from the tablet edges, especially in portrait orientation. I just gotta stop being so cheap when buying stuff like this.

A great cover for my secondary Fire 10
I got a new Fire 10 tablet and still wanted to use my older Fire 10 in the kitchen or in the gym. Enter this little dandy with its incorporated kickstand and I'm liking it.It holds the tablet securely and the kickstand can be placed in multiple positions. The case has a nice firm feel and stays in my hands well when I'm reading in portrait mode and the speakers are free to send the waves my way.So this is a good deal to keep my old tablet being used.

Literally dropped it out of a second story window
It literally fell out of my 2nd floor window. I didn't know our bedroom window screen was broken. I rested on the window sill leaned against the window screen while I was adjusting the bed pillows. In shock I watched it fall, heard it hit the stairs repeatedly. I walked outside fully expecting a useless tablet. Omg. Not a dang scratch. Wow wow wow. The stand attachment was difficult to open on this for me. I broke it. Other than that. Hot dang. It survived a huge fall and only one corner of the table slightly came out of the case :)
