I actually like this litter box alot. I got it for my 8 week almost 9 week old kitten. I was worried that it would be to high for her to get up in but its actually the perfect height for her. There is plenty of room for her to turn around in. She really doesn't like the door that great and the door is kind of weird. But overall i really like it and i think she does too. and no litter kick back

The feature I like best is Shape. The feature I dislike is the cover only catches on one side.

I’m disappointed in the flimsiness of this cat box compared to the Petmate litter box I’ve had for several years. The quality has definitely gone downhill. And it doesn’t have the notches on the sides of the lid to easily snap it on and off the base, like the older version, so it’s kind of a pain to get the lid off. The swinging door is attached with tiny, flimsy knobs, so if we’d left it as is, it would have come off every time the cat used it. We didn’t want a swinging door for our elderly cat, however, so we cut half the door off and taped the remaining half-moon to the lid, to make a normal-sized doorway that doesn’t move.The upside is that it’s cute and space agey (we got the one with the silver lid), and it works fine for our small cat.

The first thing I would like to say about this litter box is that they should definitely not have called this a large! It seems much more like a small litter box. To me it seems like it would be something you would use for very small kittens only. My eight-month-old kitten was not very happy going inside, because it was too small. She did fit of course, but she did not have the room that she usually likes to have. Also the filter on this litter box is not really Worth it. My cat easily was able to take it off and play with it and it really did not seem it did anything. If it was advertised for a litter box for very small kittens then it would’ve been a different story but it did not specify that and it made it seem like it was just for the average sized cat. I would definitely not recommend this for anyone’s cat who is not a brand new tiny kitten. Also the door did not stay on very well and almost every time my kitten went in and out of the litter box one of the hinges would come apart and the door would halfway fall off. This was very annoying. I will say that it latched on well to the base and the handle was sturdy. It was easy to keep clean.

Aight, look.I've never left a review on Amazon. Good or bad.So I want that to set your context for how much I *loathed* this god forsaken litter box.First, the first time I ordered it, it didn't even make it to me. Amazon told me it was here. But my doorman never had a record of it. So I had to bitch to Amazon to get them to send it again.That's not inherently the product's fault, but I needed to complain about that too. Anyway.To call this thing flimsy would be an insult to flimsy things. There are no mechanisms to make the top lock onto the base. There's this little latch on the side of the base allegedly for the little latches on the top to go under, but the lid wasn't big enough to allow both of them to do that. So I could only latch one side.I thought, "Hell, doesn't really need to stick, since I won't be moving it unless I move." So I went ahead and just dropped the lid on. Then I tried to put the door on - and simply touching the door hinge on the top knocked it off.And even had I gotten it to work, it was too small for my cat. That might be on me for not checking into sizes and all that jazz, but I defend myself on the basis that the picture makes it look pretty big. (And my cat isn't exactly a behemoth, either, so to say it's too small for him is saying something).I checked the reviews after my issues and someone else mentioned issues with the door not going in. So whatever assembly line they're using is missing a cog or something.Don't waste your money. The frustration of this anti christ of a pet maintenance item isn't worth the extra 30 bucks for a good one.It does get 5 stars for easiness to clean, though, because it was incredibly simple and satisfying to throw in the garbage.

This litter box is by far the best I’ve ever bought! I purchased it in the jumbo size because I wanted to make sure I had enough room for my cats to go in and do their business and have room to bury their waste and move around in the box without being cramped. I bought this box to replace a box I had for many years that I bought at a pet store and unfortunately is no longer available I really shopped around and looked at many different boxes and read the reviews on this one and it doesn’t disappoint! No leaks at all, the lid fits very well and secure and there’s not a lot of effort to take the lid off and put it back on. I took the door off to make it easier for my cats to get in and out of it and there is no worry with litter being kicked out the front since they have plenty of room in the box. Very easy to clean, litter doesn’t stick to the sides. I’ve had it about a week now and it’s been great. I would definitely recommend this litter box.

Really cheaply made. The door won’t easily open and close and is too big for the size of the box. My cat already got stuck. She is a 2 month old kitten, so definitely wouldn’t recommend if you have a larger cat. The top is only placed on, doesn’t lock into place so you won’t be able to carry it anywhere using its own handle. Can only carry it entirely from the bottom. The door is so cheaply made, I literally had to cut it with scissors so that it will open and shut easier without getting stuck. Once your cat goes in or out, you’ll have to manually close it back because it tends to stay open due to lack of slickness and weight. I wish I had bought a better option and not this cheap thing. It’s a good size though, and the color is cute, I got the pink bottom one. But very poorly made, I wouldn’t recommend buying at all. If you want to have your cat use its litter box unsupervised, I’d go with the pricier, more sturdy option.

I like this box , the one issue is that is I had to take the flap/door off for kitten as she didn’t want to go inside . I’ll put it back on when she is bigger . There still less litter on the with the box than others even without the door . I would buy second one .
