My mom is handicap and the belts make my life safer and so much easier. I purchased two we both wear one when I moved her or help her up. The buckle easily releases the belt when adjusting it removing belt. I also love the handles the placement works and with them vertical and horizontal makes it easier to hang on to her and/or changes positions. I like the width of the belt. Although it is not ment for back support, it does give me extra back support. I plan on purchasing another one for a backup.

I purchased this item because my husband was having balance issues after a second shoulder surgery an having lost 35 lbs. He is 5'9" and I am 4'11". With this device I was able to help him walk and keep him steady. Without it if he started to fall I would not have been able to hold him up. It gave me the security to keep him standing erect and tall not leaning forward. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Very easy to use, helps my spouse keep their balance and with multiple hand holds it has prevented several falls. Good design, sturdy hand grips, does exactly what it is supposed to do.

This was a gait belt that a physical therapist suggested for a family member with shuffling gait, so I may hold onto him or the PT has demonstrated/held onto him without a walker. The belt basically allows anyone to hold a patient from handles, so they can walk on their own and the assistance prevents a fall or stumbling accident with those grip handles. I'm not sure why it took so long for it to get here through the mail, but a month's wait was very strange for something in a box the size of a DVD collector set. Hopefully, people can get these nice belts at a faster pace, so your family member doesn't have to wait so long.

Bought two of these because I love them so much. They are the sturdiest gait belt you can find. It also has padded handles for the assistant to hold onto instead of having to put your hand under the belt. I also like how they clip together, there's no tying or threading of the belt required, just a simple click.
