My initial impression is neutral at best, hence the 3 stars. I'm guessing the battery is dead as it doesn't work. The "luxury" packaging is just cardboard. Invicta does a better job with packaging/presentation, so does Parnis for that matter. This was on par with Seiko, but looked like it fell off the back of a truck. The watch was not even on its little pillow when I opened it. Glad I checked first before gifting it.Ok bracelet, solid endlinks, milled clasp, black mother of pearl face is pretty, but only under the right lighting. Most of the time it looks solid black. The date is almost impossible to read and is off-center. It doesn't help that the date window is too small.I used a magnifier to read the info on the case-back in hope of determining which battery it takes. The case is covered in hundreds of tiny scratches. Appears to be from poor polishing/finishing. I own several watches that cost the same or less and have flawless finishing on the case, bezel, and bracelet.If it worked out of the box, I may have given it 4 out of 5 stars. Minus 1 star for the scratches everywhere and for the ill-fitting packaging.UPDATE... I took away one star after the ordeal of replacing the battery. The slots on the case-back are shallow and made it difficult to unscrew the back. The plastic spacer surrounding the movement was cheap and difficult to replace prior to reassembly. The more I try to admire the black mother of pearl face, the more disappointed I am at its overall dullness. This watch is overpriced for what it is, and a real disappointment. Thank you.

Easy to adjust the strap to my wrist, this watch is not too heavy on the arm and also it's not to big.

I love this watch. It's a good quality watch and looks stunning when on. Ladies just be aware that it is a large face and may not suit very small wrists!
