A MUST HAVE IF YOU HAVE A TOW HITCH--AN ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE!!
This is a wonder tool-I have been looking for something like this for 5 years. It cleans the male and female ends of the flat spade style plugs VERY VERY WELL--it also does the round style. The tester is a must have it lets ONE person know if the turn signals work, 24/7 power plug is working, flashers working-everything but the brakes. that is a two person job because someone needs to push on the brakes. all the other things you just turn on (such as turn signal), walk back and look at the plug and you immediately know you have power at the plug. This tool is outstanding and was a monumental find since I have been looking for so long. The price was comparable to anywhere else on the web.

Great to have in your camper toolkit!
This is a fabulous tool for all RV electrical connections. I use it in conjunction with electrical contact cleaner. The tester allows one person to check all outbound current to the trailer, which allows one to rule out issues on the tow vehicle (or not). I may get a more extensive kit to allow me to clean all light socket connections on the camper as well.

Very good device to test the vehicle connector
I would give it five stars if it also had a male connector to plug the trailer into. This would allow one to better isolate connection problems. I does half the job very well.The contact cleaning tools are great.Yes - worth the money.

Quality tool, but a little expensive for what it does. Does the job, but a little pricey for the DIY who only needs it occasionally.

Works as advertised
It works as advertised. I wish instructions were a bit more detailed. The amount of cleaner is VERY small, maybe enough for 3-4 cleanings if you are careful. But it does a great job of removing oxidation.

Not for my Airstream connector
The flat file is way too thick to go into the conductors in my female connector. I’ve had to buy thin contact files to get them clean. The other cleaner worked well on the male (truck) side.
