This is a great little case. It's fairly sturdy and it fit my galaxy s4 with extremely protective case just fine. I was able to work the screen while it was in the case and it felt very sturdy.The included lanyard is nice as well, it has a satin texture and feels very strong.I received a discount on this product for testing and reviewing purposes and this is my honest and unbiased opinion.

This waterproof case has a unique locking system to keep phones and other devices dry. The bag is a bit smaller than my other one but my Samsung S5 fits with a slim case with a bit of room to spare. It comes with a lanyard and there is a URL to visit for tips and instructions on how to use the bag for underwater photography. But to be honest, I would never risk my $650.00 phone trying to take photos underwater in ANY bag regardless of price or quality. I wanted this bag to protect my phone from the elements, to take on our boat, to keep in when at the beach or other areas where the phone could get wet or messy and this bag fits the bill.It's fairly thick but I can access my touchscreen and use all my buttons on my hone through it. I submerged the bag with an old nonworking phone inside and it didn't leak but still, I am just not a risk taker. However, I did use the bag yesterday when I went to our marina. We took a quick spin on our boat and I felt confident that my phone was protected from the splashes that happen whenever I am on the boat. It's great for rainy days and probably will come in very handy on those awful wet snowy days we get here in New York.The bag opens and closes with two "locks" that flip like light switches to lock and unlock it and then the phone slides in or out effortlessly. This can also be used for most iPods and other electronic devices as well as keeping a wallet, credit cards, or even money dry and free of debris.Although I can't attest to whether this case will protect a phone when submerged underwater for a length of time, I do feel it is well worth the retail cost to protect my phone from the elements and whenever I am in our boat. I'm sure a brave soul will come along who actually tested their smartphone underwater and will report back but I really don't have any interest in taking that chance. I am not saying this case wouldn't be perfectly fine under water. I'm just a chicken and would probably forget to lock it or something and would end up with a wet phone and sheer panic would ensure.Still, if you're looking for a quality waterproof case for your phone or other device, I would say this one is a good choice. It's easy to lock, thick but still allows you to use your touchscreen, and is completely transparent. The lanyard lets you wear it around your neck or wrist or you can remove it and toss the bag into a backpack or purse. This case delivers on its promise. I put some tissues in it and kept it in a bowl of water for a half hour in order to ensure it was water tight and hadn't been punctured. No problem there, and that gave me the confidence to trust it with my phone. You can still operate the phone while inside, except for talking/hearing. The touch screen and buttons work fine through the plastic. You can take pictures too (including under water) but you'll have to play with it to make sure the lens is well aligned with the plastic case so you don't get ripples in your photo.The closure is easy to use but do ensure you've actually sealed it and not just turned the dial while the case is open. Its pretty obvious to see but you could close the closing dial while the case is open. It also comes with a little strap. You can certainly use this under water, but I'm really just using it for the beach - and for cooking. I get recipes off of my phone sometimes and historically it could get covered in flour and grease. This is great to avoid that and then it rinses right off.
