FineSource Water-Safe Case for Kindle Paperwhite

This is the best case for this tablet hands down. Otter box is to bulky for my taste. Also fits 3rd generation I tried it and it works.

I haven't dropped it, but the rubbery outside seems like it would give good protection if I did. The screen protector is great. No bubbles and doesn't interfere with use. If I were able to change anything, it would be the holes in the screen saver over the camera lens. I know there is no claim of this case being waterproof. It just seems like an unnecessary thing that could allow spills etc to get under the screen saver. There are no instructions for putting this on. Just a link to a YouTube video. I was able to figure out out without instructions, and am sooo not mechanically inclined. The color is a nice shade of blue with dark grey. The case adds weight, but nothing like my Otterbox or Griffin cases. It will fit HDX 8.9 3rd and 4th generations.I think this case is a very good value for the price. Recommended.

I love the outside of the case! The color is wonderful and just like in the picture! The case is very sturdy, albeit a bit heavy but I was looking for something durable so I didn't mind the weight.The build in screen protector, however, is not good. It goes on smooth and perfect for the first few hours but then starts to cause these rainbowy, cloudy spots all across the screen. I've tried everything to get this out and have watched the video for installation and followed it to a T, but nothing makes it better.I do not recommend this case. While it is nice looking on the outside, the screen protector seriously decreases picture quality and the case decreases sound quality.

I've been using this case for several months. After a few months I bought a second one in case they ran out and I needed to replace mine. It is so convenient to use this as a cover because it protects well while allowing a slender profile. I can just put my tablet in my purse and not worry about it. It is slim enough to fit inside another case for double protection when I am traveling. I have dropped the tablet once and the case protected it. I was so Relieved to have this case on my Fire when I spilled hot chocolate on it. I wiped the liquid off and then opened the case to see if any had gotten through. I had spilled it right on the corner and straight seam. I discovered it was completely dry inside the case. I recommend this case to anyone with a Fire HDX. It is so easy to use the tablet screen through the protection and I don't have to worry about damage to my beloved Fire HDX. I might even get a third case just in case of scratches. My Fire HDX remains in pristine condition and I use it several hours per day, every day.

I love my Fire HDX 8.9, but found myself using iPad more often because the OtterBox case I was using was too bulky and the controls were hard to use. Finally I gave up on the OtterBox and bought the same case that I use on my iPad, the Unicorn Beetle SUPCASE (in a different color of course).Wow, this made all the difference! My Fire has become the tablet of choice, especially since Amazon Underground has free games (in-app purchases are free).So thank you, SUPCASE, for making this awesome case for the Fire product line. I love the look, the weight and the ease of use. The screen is also well protected, without the bulk of other cases. Well done!

This is a great hard case for the Kindle. I do wish they came in more variety of colors. My only issue with this case was there were no clear directions on how to open and insert the Kindle. There was a tiny insert that directed you to a YouTube video. When you typed in the YouTube video website it came up with several different videos but none of them demonstrated for Kindle, it was for an iPad or a Samsung tablet. I figured it out by looking at an advertisement that showed the hard case in pieces and figured it out from that point. So I'm giving them four stars only because they need to get better directions on how to install the Kindle into the hard case. Other than that the hard case is an excellent product.

I did not read the description clearly enough to understand that the screen protector was integrated into the case. I never, ever like this setup and thought about returning it as soon as I saw the embedded screen protector.I would have made a mistake. The case fits very, very well and the screen protector takes absolutely nothing away from the touchscreen. If it had been even a small hit in performance, I'd have returned it.The case is reasonably light and I am confident that it will handle substantial drops onto hard surfaces. The switches seem just fine, and the access to the charging port seems to be quite good. All of my USB connections fit well.I don't know of a downside, but I was looking for them!

This case works great for general protection. Spills and dirt are no worry for this one. The only unfortunate thing I've run into is the screen protector part scratching. It's plastic and it does a great job of preventing the screen of the kindle from getting scratched, but if I put it in my purse, seems every time something in my purse manages to scratch the screen cover. So now I try to make sure that I point the screen at the fabric inside of my purse and away from the contents, since doing that, I've not noticed any new blemishes. This one for the kindle doesn't seem to be as bulky or weigh adding as the one I have on my ipad air. Possible that I just don't notice it as much though. Great case for the money for sure!!
