JorVetNylon Muzzle, Large

Placed it on my dog and it didn't really fit the way it was supposed to. My vet was the one who recommended it.

I've gone through too many muzzles to count. My dog ripped or chewed through all of them before I bought one of these Jorvet muzzles from my dog's vet. (I've since bought a second muzzle in case I lose the first one from Amazon)It's been nearly two years since I bought it and it's still going strong. I've put it in the wash and it still looks new--no threads are coming apart even after two years or regular vet use.Important!I only use this muzzle for short periods, i.e. vet visits, trimming nails, baths.I do not use this muzzle for regular walks or leave my dog with it on unattended. This muzzle does not allow the dog to pant, so please be aware that this is not the type of muzzle you should be using for taking your dog on walks, playing, etc.

I bought this for my fearful rescue who nips at our vet. I like having this for highly anxious situations. It actually helps signal to her that her agression is not tolerated. She is much easier to handle when wearing this muzzle. She calms down and allows me to take control. It's easy to fit and is lightweight so it doesn't harm my girl but stays in place easily and allows the vet access to her without fear of her nipping.I like that it allows interrupted breathing and just eliminates the chance of my girl biting anyone who needs access like at medical exams and nail trimming and grooming. A good deal all the way around and when it gets dirty you can throw it in the wash and allow it to air dry.
