Good Towel, But Not the Original Scott #150
I worked for the late, great Scott Paper Company for 10 years as a commercial sales representative and I know a few things about C-fold towels. First, the Scott #150 was the only towel ever designed to dry hands. Period. Every towel since then -- multifold, singlefold or roll -- was designed to fit into a pricepoint. The Scott #150 had perf-embossing, created by knuckle rollers that punched tiny holes into the paper to expose end-fibers, thus, making the towels more absorbent, as the end fibers provide a wicking effect. The #150 was designed to be used one at a time and not unfolded People, C-fold towels DO NOT INTERLOCK. You are looking for a multifold towel. Jeez. Most, but not all, towel dispensers accommodate both multifold and C-fold towels. If you see a slot where the towel dispenses, it's a multifold-only dispenser. I was diligently looking for the best C-fold towel I could find for a local club and since Kimberly-Clark bought out Scott Paper Company, I hoped the Kleenex 01500 might be the same, or similar towel. Nope. No perf-embossing, no bulk, no softness, not particularly absorbent. It's just a paper towel. I guess the knuckle-rollers at the mill wore out and K-C chose not to replace them. The next best towel was the old Marathon #823. I have no idea if they exist anymore. It's the way of the world. Forget about quality -- what's the price? Generally, regarding everything it's "price, quality or service -- you only get 2 out of 3." Remember that more people have made more money selling the best quality products than everyone else selling junk.

Great for use in home
I started using these paper towels as covid started and still continue today. A bit pricey, however, they are absorbent and soft enough to use through my entire home.

The best paper towel
This is the best paper towel, I buy it instead the roll, it works very well and is cheaper. Excellent for liquid spills

Super Value over other Towels - Similar to Scott Essential
I bought a kitchen countertop c-fold dispenser and a case of these Kleenex towels and a case of the Scott Essential towels for use in my home. Honestly, there is very little difference between the two towels, but here's what I found.-- The Scott towels have a nice soft feel, but the Kleenex are ever so slightly softer to the touch. If you did not have two towels side by side, you probably would not notice the difference. Both are soft.-- Both are the same size unfolded, and have a similar thickness.-- Both are sturdy and absorbent towels. I see no differences here, even when wet, folded or unfolded, there is no difference between the two. They easilly mop up spills with absorbency to spare, and can handle scrubbing without falling apart and are non-abrasive.-- Both are cases of 2400 towels. The difference is in how many packs in the case. Kleenex is 16 packs of 150; Scott is 12 packs of 200. The Scott towels packs are a bit more compressed, and the Kleenex are packed a bit looser. The only difference I've noticed is that I need to refill the dispenser more often with the Kleenex.-- Both do not have excessive dust, and they do not have a dusty feel to them. In fact, I see and feel very little dust with both of them. With other brands, the softer the towel, the more dust - but both Kleenex and Scott seem to have very little dust. If anything, I'd say the Kleenex have a little more dust, but again, only when compared side my side with the Scott towels. Alone, you likely cannot tell the difference.

Soft and absorbent!
I was really impressed by these paper towels - frankly, I was a bit worried that they would be rough and not very absorbent. Wrong! These are actually thicker and softer than the paper towels I normally buy on a roll. As well, they are easy to grab simply stacked up near my kitchen sink in a basket, as they don't need a special dispenser to be useful. My only criticism would be that they are fairly large and there is not a simple way to grab and use just half a towel (like the "select-a-size" option on some paper towel rolls). But that's remedied by simply tearing a sheet in half if you don't need to use the whole thing, so it's all good. I'm officially hooked on these - no more fussing with a towel holder with wet hands and having to clean up paper towel dust all over the counter. Don't hesitate to try these soft, white, super absorbent towels!

I found a basket to hold these! Finally!
I really like using these paper towels in my home. I have a small wall dispenser for one bathroom. Another bathroom, though doesn't have room for the wall thing and I needed a basket to hold them. I tried some other dispensers, and they seem to only work from the bottom, not picking one up from the top. I happened to buy a basket once for holding toiletries inside a cabinet door and it fit the z-fold towels perfectly, but the C-fold kleenex ones are longer! just about 3/4 of an inch, but enough that my basket didn't hold them. I was using the z-fold ones for a long time, but didn't like that when you picked one up from the top, the next one was folded into it...so you had to shake/jiggle free the one towel you wanted to pick up!I searched and searched on amazon (it is hard to find dimensions through a search!) and finally found one that works really well. It is this chrome one. I didn't want wicker/wood since it was going to get some water on it. I realize that this one is "hanging" but the hanging thing comes unattached, so you don't have to use it at all (I don't.) it is about .75 inch too long (I think it is 11.8 and these towels are just under 11) but the width is perfect. The height holds about 75% of the wrapped stack easily. I will attach a photo of this so you can see how it works and looks. I looked many times for a chrome basket that was the perfect size for these and have had lots of trouble! You'd think they would make a nice one for people to use in their homes (not an industrial/office type of thing.) Let me know if you want the link to the other basket that is absolutely perfect for the multi-fold (aka "Z fold), and I will put it in the comments. I didn't want to link it here and confuse people!
