These are hardly the most expensive items. However, if you use single-use batteries, they will cost you a fortune.On switching on, the lights are bright. However, within about ninety minutes, they dim to the extent of needing a new set of batteries. I routinely use good quality rechargeable batteries and tried a set of supermarket own brand alkalines just to see if they were any different. They were: they were flat in a little over sixty minutes.I bought two sets of these lights and both exhibited the same behaviour.Returned for refund. I cannot, on my experience, recommend this product.
