These are not as nice as I had anticipated. The seller was great and even called me to ask for feedback. They offered to return the item but honestly it didn't seem worth it.Pros:1. The silicone does not smell and seems to be of decent quality.2. The item does look like it does in the pictures.3. The price was good.4. They will make decent trivets once I cut them up.Cons:1. The gloves are not shaped like any human hand I know of. I should have known this form the pic, but if you look at it the thing is closer to having 5 fingers instead of 4 fingers and a thumb and all the fingers are the same basic length. It is kind of what you owuld expect an alien to create as a glove if you described a human hand to them. Close, but just not right. This makes them awkward feeling when you wear them.2. There is no cloth inside the gloves. This is the cause of most of the other Cons.3. They do not slip on or off easily, especially if your hands are wet.4. The lack of a liner inside the rubber was not offset by adding thicker rubber. The result is your hands still get hot too quickly when using these to pick up hot items like a pan form the oven.5. The wrist part is not very long so your arms are still exposed to heat. For over use this isn't a big deal but for the grill it is a bit annoying.6. They have no magnet to help stick them to the grill or fridge. This is a nit pick compared to the other cons, but usually with mits they either have them already or they have cloth inside which makes adding magnets easy with a piece of extra cloth and some fabric glue. Adding magnets to silicone however.. not so easy.

I was hoping these would allow me to carry a hot vegetable basket from the grill outside to the kitchen stove inside, about 20 feet away. Halfway there the heat passes through to the point of having to sit the pan down. This is about as far as I get with a standard oven mitt. When the heat does break through with these, it's pretty sudden. I guess I was expecting too much out of them based on other reviews. These style gloves seem to all be made about he same and rebranded by whoever is selling them. I don't think a any other brand of similar silicone gloves would do any better.

I would not say these are good for the grill. I found that they got hot immediately and the heat did not dissipate for a long time. I'm not really sure what they are good for. I don't want my wife to take things out of the oven with them so they are fairly useless to me. Anyone want them?

Amazingly protective! With these on, you don't need to fear about touching any hot surfaces. I have even put my gloved hands down on the hot grill for several seconds, and the gloves merely got warm inside and showed no signs of melting on the outside.The lack of sizes is why I give it 4 stars. If I could have bought a smaller pair, they would be perfect.

Went with all the rave reviews, but unfortunately my husband and I both almost burned ourselves while using these gloves. Zero protection for simply taking a baking sheet (at 400 F) out of the oven. Very disappointed. Chase Platinum called us to find out how the gloves were doing (not realising we'd already returned them!). When the rep found out they didn't work (as far as we were concerned), he offered us a coupon code for buying something else. Well, when we read the e-mail, we had to spend $50 in order to qualify for the coupon code! Needless to say, we're not impressed with this product, or with the sellers. Thank God for Amazon's amazing return policy.

They are not as heat Resistant as I would like. When you BBQ and are handling a brisket you still have to move real fast, and then the heat last longer because the gloves are hot..

Like the product, but for a guy with big hands, they fit a little tight and are hard to pull off when filled with grease. If you use a towel, they come off easily.

It's difficult to bend the fingers causing the glove texture to tear meat if the grip isn't solid. Aside from that, doesn't get too hot in high heat and is easy to clean.
