Fisher Space Pen Silver Ink Space Pen, Ballpoint, Bold Point, Silver Metallic Ink

This is my favorite brand of silver pen. These used to be everywhere, they are timeless, and to this day the choice pen for everyone. Everyone from the mechanic, machinist, welder, auto service, motorcycle repair, artist, electrician, millwright, upholstery shop, auto body, and everyone in rough service environments. Also I still see this pen in use by the hard working people in the restaurant, barista, and waiter/waitress who cannot have a pen fail. You can write on everything from vinyl, rubber, leather, fabrics, tyvec, and on your stone paper note pad. Overhead, vertical, horizontal, in the rain, in water, and in dusty areas this pen will work. Leave it in a freezer it will work. Leave the pen in direct sunlight or in a hot environment works great. No leaks. Fits nicely in my pocket, in a notebook, and I have never had one of these or any other Fisher pen leak or make a mess. This I the plastic case version that is still really good quality, not heavy, and it lasts a long time. I can say this pen lasts easily as long as three Bic ball points without leaking. They write really smooth and feel good. Excellent color and quality ink too. I cannot say anything bad about this brand of pen. I remember getting one many years ago that didn't work right and Fisher got me another pen after contacting them. So I like how they really care about their customers. Buy one for yourself or as a gift. They are truly a pen for everyone. Only problem is if you loan one out it might take a while to return.

These are not meant for writing on white paper. They are meant for industrial use. Fisher's own website list these under Professions/Trade Professional. Supposedly they are not refillable, probably because the cartridge is 5⅛" long whereas the Fisher Universal refill for multi-color pens is shorter.

Writes well, and nice to have the silver ink, but feels very cheaply made for the price. Not the quality I would expect from a fisher space pen.

I love fisher! How they produced such a cheap pe... Oh, I see. The whole thing bends. No problem. It can be for work. The only smell mentioned in reviews is menthol from the click mechanism. I disagree, the two I received smell like BARF. I don't understand why. I'd prefer menthol. Minus 1 star because I have to contend with this confusing smell.

I feel like I got ripped off. These are cheap quality pens. The silver ink is barely legible, looks like a very light pencil mark on white paper. I tried to write on a brown paper bag and you can't even see it. I looked to buy black ink refills for it and they cost more than this two set of pens. I don't know what these pens would be good for and the manufacturer should be ashamed for selling these things. I would not recommend.

Fun and it worked as advertised. Gave one to my daughter but I kept the other one

This is the only pen I can seem to keep up with. I know I have to, since it's the only pen I can count on writing well, regardless of the conditions. The design is nice and modern, and the pen has a hefty weight to it that adds a sense of "this is quality". I'm pretty sure I could defend myself with it if necessary. The ink cartridges last a long time, and are cheap when you do need to replace them. These make great gifts!

This is the pen that works!! Extreme temperatures! On any angle, a special ink that will write through grease, and underwater!!! If you want a pen that works... Need a pen that is going to work. You need to pick a Fisher!

THIS SPACE PEN WAS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED. ALTHOUGH IT WORKED WELL IT WAS SIMPLY NOT FOR ME, THIS DO'S NOT MEAN I WILL STOP PURCHASING FROM THEM IN THE FUTURE IF THEY HAVE AN ITEM I WANT!
