I purchased this believing from the description that it was actually a replacement for the original handle. It's not. Not even close. The original handle is thick and fits in your hand. This handle is flimsy. It's uncomfortable in your hand. It looks as if there's a piece missing from the back. So it appears unfinished. The grasp is uncomfortable because of the missing back piece. Also it's THIN because of no back piece. I'm not sure how long it will last and I'll probably be ordering from the original Dometic manufacturer to get a quality handle.

the Product fits my refridgerator however the handle is not the same as the oriiginal. The handle on the original was rounded and comfortable and the new handle is kind of flat and feels kind of bad when opening. Still i kept it and will use it. It is usable and my only wish is that it was the exact same as the original.

I've had to buy a few of these as mine break. I'm glad these easily replace the old. Very simply remove a couple of screws. My only wish is that they were made of a more durable plastic, even if it costs more. They break too easily.

It works but not nearly as stout feeling as original.Original handle is a solid piece whereas this replacement is hollow where your fingers grasp the handle to pull. I also find that thumb release requires a touch of guidance to release vs the original.For the price, it is a functional replacement piece just does not have that quality feel in your hand.

They are the same as the ones that cdme with the fridge. Only downfall is they don't seem to latch. Possibly because they were flattened at storage facility before shipment? During shipment? We haven't moved the rv yet so not sure how the lack of locking shut will affect things.

Is it light, yes. Does it fit, yes. Will it hold up, I think so. As long as your expectations match what you receive, the experience is good. I expected a light duty handle, which is what I got. It works good so far for me.

New handle technically works, but is 1/2 the thickness of the original. The handle is paper thin and do not see it lasting over a year or so. Would recommend buying an original quality handle for those who use often.

I'm disappointed with this latch/handle. In the picture it looks like the one I'm replacing, but it's very thin, and not sturdy at all. I'm expecting it to break. If I were you I'd buy the more expensive one.
