Exceptional it is!

I'll admit working from home has gotten a bit dull these past few months. This Luke Skywalker pen was about the furthest thing from work I could think of, and it's a fun addition to my desk. It writes really well, although it's on the chunky side. And that's from someone whose hands are on the chunky side himself. It's certainly not dainty at least. I like it enough, but it will probably stay home once I'm back in the office. I might opt for one of the clickable pens in the future.

It looks like cheap plastic and I assumed it would be for the price. I was pleasantly surprised when I got it. It is still plastic, but I think it may be resin. It feels substantial in your hand. Retention of the cap when taken off and put on other end, is very good. Even if you are not a fan of the movie franchise, its a sturdy and good looking pen.

An okay pen inside a rickety plastic toy. I have to disagree with several of the reviews--it's far cheaper than it looks. The cap rattles on the top, and there's no concern at all for balance. This would be a great gift for Star Wars fans who don't use fountain pens.

In look and feel, these POP Sheaffer line pens are the closest one can get to the vintage No-Nonsense style from the 70s and 80s. It writes with a bold, sensual line like a fountain pen, but without the hassle.

Beautiful pen for the collection. I even plan to get more of the set as a Star Wars fan. The pen is super light weight, I can barely tell I'm holding anything it's so light. Near the tip you write with it actually has a rubber grip, and I like that.It came with two cartridges, but I completely forgot to consider a converter, it does not come with one so I will have to go look at what kind of converter I need.

Love the pen It twists to open. Problem is it doesn’t lock into place so as you write it starts to close up. I bought it for the comfort which is great. Just wish it would stay open.

This is a lovely pen. The Darth Vader design is subtle and stylish and the nib ensures a very smooth writing experience. I've used lots of fountain pens before, and know what to expect from a pen priced at £20 or less and in terms of writing, and this one is good.However, it's not perfect: The flow of ink through the nib is very fast, meaning that your writing will bleed through almost every paper surface you try it on. No writing on both sides of the page! It will drip occasionally. And most importantly, it will use up an entire cartridge in 8 sides of generously spaced writing on A5 paper. I know this because I used a whole cartridge in a single day of note-taking at work. And given the price of Schaeffer's non-international cartridges, that equates to about £1.21 of ink on a writing-intensive day.This leads me to conclude that this pen isn't for everyday use, but would still be great for the occasional bit of personal correspondence, such as writing a short letter or birthday card. But that's not what fountain pens are made for, is it?

This pen writes beautifully and offers a good balance between thickness of ink and how much ink is released when being used. Can smudge if you're not a little bit mindful though it's been infrequent that this has happened. Lovely design and easy to refill too.

Sadly everytime i write with this pen the nib gradually disappears and I have to keep tightening it.

Bought for my Star Wars fan husband who loves it. Writes really nicely (rollerball).
