There’s a couple other reviews that address the use of this wheel kit on AT luggage where the screws come up a little short. I used the provided barrel nuts and purchased two 10-32 X 3/4” screws locally along with four #10 flat washers. I put one washer under the head of the 10-32 screw and enough washers between the female end of the barrel nut and inside of the wheel bracket to fill the gap. This allowed me to tighten the screw and barrel nut securely without stressing the wheel brackets. It is a good inexpensive fix that I expect will last the rest of the life of the luggage.

Wife's traveler baggage had wheel damaged by airline during transport. Seemed like an easy fix, but next to impossible to find duplicate replacement wheel. Tried this wheel, and while not a perfect fit, it does the job quite well.

My luggage had got caught on a carousel and tore the wheel up. I ordered this replacement to see if it would work, it did. This was a very good replacement of the damaged wheel. I replaced both wheels. The only trouble I had was getting the old wheels off. I would buy again in a heartbeat.

Fixed 20 year old luggage wheels! Make sure you measure !!!

The axle bolts were a couple mm too short, but I was able to make it work by squeezing the sides of the wheel mounts together. The wheels themselves were fine, however. The package of axle hardware and bolts appeared to be from a standard bin of hardware that I've received from other (smaller) sized luggage replacement wheels. So, these should've been a bit longer since the wheels are wider than most luggage wheels.

I have a TravelPro Platinum garment bag that dates back to the 1980's (possibly mid 1970's) and the rubber wheels virtually disintegrated but the rest of the bag was still in good usable shape. I could not find replacements either from TravelPro or the web that specifically said it would fit this garment bag but I did find these wheels that looked about right, so I took a chance versus buying a new garment bag. I am glad they did because they fit almost perfectly, got delivered very quickly, were easy to install (though I had to drill out the old wheel shafts to release the old wheels!) and work great.
