personally, I remove the band and just so onto two extra clips on the sides and wear it as a clipping because the hair on the top of my head is too thin to be able to cover the halo band. It works great for me. They blend in perfectly. It adds length and volume. And because the band is thick, put the bottom half of my hair into a tiny ponytail and clip it underneath the halo so that way I don’t have those, awkward shorts visible on the side of my neck. And the hair matches my color perfectly, it’s soft and shiny. These halos last me for years because I don’t wear them daily, I only wear them a few weeks at a time in between my tape ins. If you don’t overwash them or use harsh, chemical such as hair dye or toners on them, they last forever.

Color was about as perfect a match as I could've hoped for! It's easy to put on, and I really like how you can add extra clips where you need them very easily with the velcro strip design. I really love that it does not damage your real hair at all! The pic is after I'd had it on for a while, and I didn't use enough hair spray to hold the curl. If you have fine hair like mine, definitely do curl it, and wrap your own hair onto the curling iron with it as you do it. And use hairspray! If you find the right color match as I did, no one would be able to tell it's not your real hair. It was on sale when I bought it, so I was extra pleased! I've heard of people spending three times the price for extensions like this. I definitely recommend this product.

So I have fine thin hair. I have medium brown hair and got medium brown hair. It’s matches exactly to my hair even though my ends have old reddish brown. My family couldn’t tell my hair from this hair piece. My only problem was that it did pull out a very small amount of my hair the first time I tried it. The second time I had less of a problem.The ends are thick and it looks very natural. I thought I’d need to trim it but no need. The ends look very healthy. I used to be a hairdresser and I’m super surprised at how real it looks.My only problem is is that I have a super sensitive scalp. I can barely handle a ponytail sometimes ( that’s been my entire life). I’m balding a little so I did need hair powder. I did find after a short time I couldn’t wait to get it off. Kind of like a bra 🤣. But I’m not going to return it because I will use it for special occasions. I really love the way it looks. I wore it in a side braid and omg for having no hair to thick hair I felt like a princess. I only wore it twice so I think with some more times trying it out it might be easier. Instead of the clips attached to it I may use Bobby pins. It may cause less pain. I really happy with this purchase. If you are considering purchasing I would definitely look at the pictures people post and try to match your hair to what they bought. I did this and had good luck.I have ashy brown medium hair and got the medium brown and it’s almost exact. Because my hair is thin on top I had to have the plastic halo part closer to the top of my head. But pulling peices forward was very easy with a fish tailed comb. I gave it only 4 stars because I wish it was larger around and the clips hurt a little bit. But I’m super sensitive.

I am shocked! I actually got the perfect match for my hair! Perfect color, perfect length, you can't even tell I'm wearing the extension. I put it on almost as soon as I opened the package. It's easy to wear, easy to "install"... if you watch enough YT videos. I will be adding the two extra clips to make it more secure on the sides, but I just love my new hair! I got the balayage ash brown mix platinum blonde brown ombré 16 inch. You measure from the top of your ear to the end of your hair to find the proper length. My hair is all natural in color, one length, too thin to layer and I do have bangs/fringe across my forehead (bangs are better than Botox 😂), plus I have a small head, and this halo extension worked perfectly. I do need a good 2" trim so will probably be ordering a 14" in this same color to wear after. The hair is soft and brushes easily. I will eventually curl it and will update this review after if necessary. I am wondering if I can use a heatless curl method on it, maybe using water and oils?
