IB English A: Language and Literature Skills and Practice: Oxford IB Diploma Program (International Baccalaureate) 1st Edition

This text is definitely more geared toward students, but in, in my opinion, an unnatural way. The information/theory and drills (of which there is MUCH more of the former -- I can't imagine any student reading it all) -- are grouped by technique and topic vs. actual DP assessment. I was hoping that the text would shed more light on what our students could expect in 2013, but the text uses the same P2 questions the IB's given in the specimen paper and has precious little explicitly directed to the exams.If you've already taught the course in prep for the 2013 exams/have the course companion by the same authors/have been on a training between 2011-2013, this book is not for you.
