one page per letter!!!
one page per letter!!!that is what i liked it a lot and get to practice the writing and it gives you an example for each letter. I just wish it would have an audio to go along w it but for the price, i am happy. I am taking Farsi in 40 days for 140 hrs for the summer. This book has already helped me. THX. Takashur.

It works!
Within 3 weeks, I was able to read and write the Persian script. The workbook did a good job in explaining the name, sound, usage, and form of each letter. With a little outside work (writing the all letters I had learned by memory after every session), I memorized the alphabet well. The photos above are for your judgment, but they show the progress that has been accomplished. My main complaint with this book is that an explanation of where and why multiple letters with the same sound are written was lacking. However, I eventually found out through other materials online and dedicated Persian grammar books.

Learning the alphabet!
Learning the alphabet - this book helped me practice writing the alphabet over and over again. It was pretty elementary but it helped me do things repeatedly, so that I would take it all in and remember it.

Recommended to learn and write Persian letters.
The best Persian alphabet book out there.- There is an "advanced" handwriting section which is EXTREMELY rare to find in other books: thank you to the author for that !!- I would have liked to see ALL letters in their middle/in-between two letters representation: for the very beginner that would help even more.- Some names of some signs / letters are not written in Persian. It's a pity but just Google it if you really want to know (I am a perfectionist).Strongly recommended.

Read this book. Then any other conversational Farsi book is way more manageable!
Reading/ practicing this book first has been the key to being able to handle the other Farsi/Persian language books. Having the ability to read the Farsi along with the examples in other books has been paramount to retention of vocabulary. It also helps clarify the different pronunciations.

Good for writing
I really wanted something to help with reading. I think this workbook would be really good if you plan to write, or teach young kids to write. If that was my goal I would have rated this higher.

Just what I needed
I have a lot of trouble with Persian script. I tried flash cards and Rosetta Stone, none helped as much as this

Great for a beginner
Perfect for a beginner who can’t write but can speak Persian. Hard to figure out when to write a few of the letters like sad, sin, and se.

EXCELENTE
ES UN LIBRO COMPLETAMENTE ENFOCADO EN EL ALFABETO PERSA Y SUS MANERA DE ESCRIBIRLO... NO LO HE USADO PORQUE ME ACABA DE LLEGAR PERO POR LO QUE REVISE ESTA BASTANTE BIEN... TAMBIEN VIENE INCLUIDA LO QUE ES LA PSRTE DE LOS NÚMEROS PERSAS Y SU MANERA DE ESCRIBIRLO...

Turns a daunting task into a fun exercise!
As an english speaker I looked at the task of learning the Persian alphabet as an insurmountable hurdle, didn't know where to begin. With this book, I've found that within just a couple of weeks I'm able to write out the entire alphabet from memory - a first step on my way to actually knowing it.A little tip, for each page I've been doing the written exercise, and then writing out all the letters I have learned before on the page, adding the new one each time.Definitely a good buy.
