Genuine John Deere part - fit perfectly in my X310 lawn tractor
The part arrived on time (actually a day early) and in original John Deere packaging. I have a 12 year old John Deere X310, and the new part fit perfectly. Installation of the lift handle is pretty straightforward. However, I do recommend that anyone who has never torn into this part an X310 or X360 lawn tractor watch a video on YouTube, "Replace Deck Lift Lever On A John Deere X360 Riding Mower - with Taryl". Please note that the actual part replacement doesn't start until about 5 and a half minutes into the video. The humor in it might not be to everyone's liking, but Taryl is an excellent mechanic, and his presentation and demonstration of the replacement process is no nonsense, straightforward, and easy to follow. Watching his video no doubt saved me from tearing deeper into my lawn tractor than is necessary, so I highly recommend it if you intend to replace the deck lift handle on a Deere X310/X360 lawn tractor.

Item was as described, and at a very good price point!
This same part number was available from a number of sources in Amazon. I picked the cheapest one. They were all original John Deere parts, so they should be identical! They were identical... and the item fit perfectly, making for a cheap repair!

Exactly what I needed to replace poorly designed and made lift handle. Of course it’s too expensive but be glad it isn’t JD green or it’d be 25% more.
