These lights work perfect. I'm guessing most bad reviews just don't know how to properly set the lights up as the instructions are semi out of date for the app.Make sure you are connected to you 2.4ghz wifi network when setting these up. If you already don't know what that means, don't buy these as you'll likely have a lot of trouble as well.In all, I bought 12 lights, and they all paired and sync perfectly and change any color I want. I cannot speak of longevity yet. If you are semi tech savvy, you can figure these out.Edit: As of 04/2020, to add the lights via the smart life app, do the following: Connect your phone or pairing device to your 2.4ghz wireless network, open the smart life app, click the + in the top right of the app, click on the lighting menu, which is currently the second tab down on the left of the screen, click the Lighting (BLE + wifi) button/option. Follow the instructions from there.You might be tempted to click the Auto Scan option, but I was not able to get them to pair that way. Use my above steps, and make sure of the lights aren't blinking rapidly, you turn them off and on 3 times quickly, wait 3 to 5 seconds, and they should start rapidly blinking indicating they are ready to pair with the app. If they aren't blinking, they WILL NOT pair.I think selecting the Lighting BLE + wifi option is the most important step outside of the lights rapidly blinking and you being on the right network wavelength (2.4ghz).Again, I bought 3 boxes of these, which came in a set of 4 each and ALL 12 paired with the above steps with 0 issues.Good luck!

These bulbs were an affordable entry into Smart Home. We are looking at ways to control lights in our house. I have been looking at different products, and I liked these because they didn't require a hub or controller of any sort. Set up was a bit challenging at first because your device needs to be on 2.4 GHz, and I wasn't able to know my phone down to that. Once I brought out my laptop, we were in business. Previously, these lights were pwoered by halogen bulbs. I was worried these wouldn't be bright enough. I was wrong. They are cartainly bright enough, use less energy and let us control them easily.

****UPDATE****** Definitely purchase a different brand. One month after my first bulb had issues, I now have 2 more doing the exact same thing. They turn on and off randomly and lose connection daily. These bulb last just past the return window and the customer service is non-existent. I'm trying another brand.I purchased a set of these a few months ago and I connected them easily. They worked well and I was pleased, but one of the bulbs just stopped working one day. It was just past the return window. I contacted the company to see if they would offer a replacement. They said they would so I was happy about the service. That was 5 weeks ago and now they won't respond to emails. I liked these bulbs but they should last a lot longer for the price. Unfortunately quality and customer service is lacking so I will purchase a different brand.

Great bulbs they are good individually and also as a group but sometimes the Bulbs tend to disconnect from the app and i have to play with the on and off setting for the lights link back up or i have to reconnect them in general

These worked pretty well. They stayed connected for a long while. A few hickups with power flickering knocking out connection at times.Now these do not work at all after the latest firmware.. they refuse to connect to the app.

Got these because I wanted to be able to control the lighting above my kitchen since the main switch is inconveniently located. Easy to install, looks great. Not as bright as the original IKEA lights but not that much worse.

I found these bulbs to be perfect for a above my bar. Using the app they easily connected to my wifi and can now be controlled by Alexa. Great, adorable product.Customer service was also amazing!

You're on Amazon and maybe you need 12 of these and you're wondering if you can save $500 over Philips hue.I'm taking a moment to provide you the answer. The answer is yes.As far as I could tell they are not UL listed and as far as I can tell they do not run hot.My approach given the fact that they are not UL listed? I turn off the light switch at night. In doing this I have not yet had to resync the bulbs or had any inconveniences regarding such as lengthy repairing.Hope you found this information helpful.

Es barato, tiene buenas funciones pero se desconecta continuamente (diario), no de si porque no esta tan cerca del router, pero si es muy continuo.

The media could not be loaded.  Pedí 4 focos inteligentes, llegaron bien rápido en tres días, muy fácil de configurar con la red wifi y se pudieron agregar a home de Google, responde inmediatamente a las órdenes que se dan. El empaque llegó perfecto sin daños. Los colores blancos muy bien, los demás tonos algo opacos.

Es un producto caro y de baja calidad, 1 bombilla se fundió a los 3 meses y ahora al año una segunda bombilla. Se supone que un foco LED dura muchos años.Me arrepiento de comprarlos.

Muy bueno, fácil de integrar con la app SmartLife te permite seleccionar color, intensidad de la luz, programar encendido, apagado, etc. directamente con el foco, sin necesidad de algun bridge, solo necesitas una wifi de 2.4hz
