This ointment is like magic! We learned the hard way that my baby is sensitive to carrots (her favorite), gave her really bad diaper rash everytime. We tried all kinds of diaper rash creams. A family member had given this to us in a baby shower gift. It made the diaper rash disappear within a day. We have tried both the Balmex diaper rash cream and the Balmex multi-purpose healing ointment. Both of them worked very well but I prefer the ointment. It allows the skin to breathe a lot better rather than the cream being really thick.

This is a wonderful ointment that works super fast! I put this on my child when he has slightly irritated, red skin on his bottom, and within hours I can tell a difference. It is a jelly based ointment, and isn't super greasy or oily. My son also tends to get dry patches of skin on his body (especially in his arm creases and behind his ears) so I will put a little of this on them sometimes when I change him and it seems to help clear it up. I just wish they made this stuff in jars because it is such a multi-purpose ointment that I use it up fast.
