This phone holder is perfect for my car. It was the third one I bought. The first one stuck to my dashboard and worked perfectly except that I placed it too far away for my comfort and it was impossible to remove it for relocation. The second one clipped into an air vent but was unstable as well as blocking airflow. The third and final one fits into my completely unused CD slot and is perfect!

I had a cool yet pricey holder for pop socket that was in the windshield that would randomly fall and eventually broke. I immediately began looking for another holder for my tiny smart car and came across this one. I was in the fence after reading reviews and thought I wanted my phone in the windshield especially for map purposes but my phone is huge so I thought I’d give this a try and if it didn’t work out, I knew it could be returned. When it arrived, I thought they sent the wrong thing because the box was small and when I opened it, the item seemed smaller than the pictures and needed to be put together with a few pieces but no big deal. It seemed smaller than I expected but it works. It is very secure and sturdy. I don’t like the idea of putting the phone on and taking it off is a bit stiff and hard to do with one hand but maybe that’s not a bad thing idk. It seems to be good for now and surprisingly, I like the placement better than the windshield.

I like it but it has some flaws. My biggest complaint is it can be a be a bit of a pain to line the pop socket up into it's place and usually takes me both hands to put it on the holder, which means I can not just easily put it back while driving. Another complaint is that with the size of my phone and the placement of my cd player, when my phone is in the holder it slightly blocks the view of my camera screen, just the very top where the time is & just enough to be kinda annoying. Other than these issues it is a cool idea. I am amazed that I can even still use my cd player. I can't switch out cds without removing the holder but it's not like I actually use the cd player very often anyway lol. I also do really like that it is a decent alternative to the dash or vent holders. My dash is rough and not flat so a dash one isn't much of an option and I just hate vent holders since they put weight on the flimsy vent flaps, and not only do they block air flow from the vent, your phone is getting whatever heat or cold is blowing out of your vent directly onto your phone.

this is working better than anticipated so far. The phone i'm using with it is somewhat heavy, so it wiggles around a bit more than I'd like. But overall, very happy with the purchase

The cd mount portion is great! Sturdy and easy to install but the actual pop socket holder doesn’t lock pop into place so lets phone move around a lot.

Unfortunately the teeth / grippers do not extend into the CD slot far enough to hold it on. I like the minimal design and construction is fine it's just a poor design. Unusable for me anyhow.

I've been through a few different mounts. Most will not fit phone with pop socket. Windshield mount can't take heat, rearview mount doesn't swivel side to side to avoid glare, don't want to glue to dash or block vent. This is just the ticket, sturdy mount adjusts to any angle

I was trying to find something that would allow me to sit my phone out of the way of the vents, and this was it!1: I do not enjoy overheating my phone... So I never use vent mounts in general.2: My F150 has circular vents, as shown, so they wouldn't work anyway3: I don't use CDs, so the cd tray is a waste of space.But no longer! This thing is solid. I have an S21 Ultra. Big and heavy phone, with a life proof case, which makes it even heavier. No issues!I use a different pop socket head, you can find the one pictured on Amazon also, which holds my charging cable. And if you use aux cables, it's has "clips" on each side so you could potentially hold 2 chargers for you and your side kick, or a charger and aux. Worth more than I paid in my opinion! Million dollar idea.
