Truly fantastic item! Fits very easily in to our car and can be put in and taken out in seconds! Its a good size for our dog (9kg) to lay down in… with fidget room!! The zip up sides provide adequate support and security for our dog whilst travelling in the car. There is an anchor style gadget at the back that tucks in between the seat and the back which prevents excessive movement of the seat/cover. It’s very easy to wipe clean and the material it’s made from is very strong.

We bought one of these before to bring our puppy home in and it has been fabulous. The dog knows it is his place in the car, he is seatbelted in so legal and travels well. Sadly the car was stolen with the seat inside so we purchased another and then we decided that we would buy another so we can have one in each car. They do appear to be well made - the last one had been used for 18 months before it was stolen. The new one has a different restraint connecting to the top of the seat - effectively connecting to the headrest. However we still connect him to the seat belt using a different belt as this is a little easier for the dog to get comfortable when he lies down.The car seats stay clean, the dog is happy what is not to like :-)

Took ages to decide on which car seat to get for the pups as I knew he wouldn't stay small for long. The fact it could double as a cover when he was too big for the 'box' sold it for me.Very easy to install, materials seem robust, the zipper sides have been replaced by fat strong velcro strips, that for a puppy is adequate, I can't say how sturdy they will be over time however. The sides seem strong too and the safety clip that tethers from the car seat to the dog is actually thicker and better than I thought. The photo makes it look quite thin but it's not and it's adjustable in length which is great. (We suggest using with harness not collar for safety of the dog.)Padded it out with Blankets and a toy so he would feel more secure and comfy, he had a whine and moan to start with but after a few minutes settled down and napped for the rest of the trip, so to me it was a success and he was contained and I could drive without distraction.

Great Dog Seat. Love the design and the fact you can unzip the side nearest the car door after a muddy walk. it would only be for small to medium dogs though. A bigger dog wouldn't fit in it. Also be prepared for the puppy to jump out of the box, mine did at first but used to it now and sits in it ok. The safety belt is a bonus as puppy is safe from jumping about the back seat or being thrown forward. Also easy cleaned and water resistant. All in All a good purchase and very happy with it

Easy and comfortable and safe way to transport a very muddy puppy

On receiving this product I fastened one of the corner zips to make the basket shape and the zipper came straight off at the end of the zipper strip. I hadn't even installed it in the car yet. I will be using it flat anyhow so will keep it. The material, size and quality (other than the zips) would get a top score.

Very pleased with purchase. Bought this to use instead of just a dog bed or blanket on the rear seat when talking the dog on holiday. This is much more suitable - it is easy to secure in place and the none slip base makes it safer for the pet when travelling. Although not used it for travelling yet it is in place in the car so it’s always going to be ready to use even on short journeys.

My dog HATES the car, she was on a protective mat prior to the purchase of this and never settled. Hated being in the car. She still tries to leg it on approach but once in this seat is actually pretty happy and curls up, especially after a long walk, which she never did before. Easy to install / remove. I keep a blanket in the bottom. I wish I had gotten one years earlier.. Recommend!
