Sun Replacement Mesh Seat for Ez Koolback

Will it fit a Tour Easy?
It will fit a tour easy seat -- see photos. IF you would have asked me that during the first hour of wrestling this mini trampoline I would say 'no way'. Slipping it over the top of the seat posts-- it fits fine. Getting the bottom two 'pockets' of fabric over the two sides of the rounded frame is difficult. There are four straps. Slip the seat back over the frame and pull it downwards as hard as you can. At this moment you should be able to get one of the two 'pockets' over the curved bottom frame. The other side seems to be unreachable meaning the seat fabric is just not wide enough. Tighten the top three straps tight and let the fabric stretch a bit. Try your best to tighten the bottom strap even if one of two pockets is not around the frame. This bottom strap will have no slack in it at all and you will need strong hands to get this snap to close. Then leave it alone for maybe one half hour to let it stretch. Then with all your strength or a strong friend, walk the second lower pocket of fabric over the rounded frame at the bottom. A little bit at a time. The second pocket of fabric should then pop in place with alot of pulling. Then tighten all four straps. The seat back will be tight but it will fit. Will this seat last-- I don't think it will last as long as the original seat back. The parimeter fabric is very heavy duty but the backing is much lighter than the original seat. I think the light back fabric will tear away eventually from the perimeter fabic. Too bad otherwise a decent product. Easy Racers is out of business so we have limited options for parts. (PS, Mr Manufacturer, make the backing material of a heavier grade of mesh, also give the installed dimensions, and the bikes this seat will fit)

No exactly as I imagined.
It is nice looking but is only corner hooks at the top slip-on area. I expected it to be like others on the market with a dual fabric slip-cover style, then buckled. It stays on but has a tendency to wrinkle or bunch at the bottom.

Thinner and probably won’t last as long as the original, but really great straps and fits perfectly.
I’ve had my Sun EZ-1 Lite since February of 2013. I purchased one of these replacement meshes soon after buying the bike so I would have it on hand when the original mesh needed replacement. The original mesh was perfect for years even with repeated cleanings in my clothes washer (at least once a year just for general cleaning and each time a bird got it or other filth needed to be removed). Of course, everything wears out: In early 2018 the original mesh developed a couple of holes. I slapped some duct tape on the back to keep the holes from getting larger but I like my gear to look good so early in the spring of 2019 when the worst of the cold weather was finally over I installed the replacement mesh. The replacement mesh is much thinner and lighter than the original. The original was made of tough fabric, the replacement is a single layer of unreinforced material stretched between multiple layers of reinforced material anchored around the perimeter. I doubt it’s going to last 5-6 years the way the original did. On the upside, the replacement mesh fits perfectly, I like the plastic clasps very much, and the addition of the velcro to the straps keeps them neat and tidy – I had to tie knots or use little alligator clips to keep the ends of the straps from flapping around on the original. The replacement, when tensioned properly with the straps, feels very tight and firm against my back but breathes very well, I think it allows my back to remain cooler in hot summer weather than the original. If I continue to own my EZ-1 long enough for this mesh to wear out, and it lasts at least 3 years, I’ll purchase another when needed.

Hard to find
These are a bit pricy but great replacement for hard to find recumbent seats. Sprayed with uv tent spray to help with sun damage

works as advertised
The installation was easy. I have had to tighten it a couple of times in the month I've had it, sort of like tuning new guitar strings, but it seems to be holding now. The last one I bought lasted a couple of years of daily rides before the seam at the edge of the mesh tore. If this lasts at least as long, I'll consider it a good buy.
