We do have glitters on wings. We took pain in the production process to ensure that glitters are applied in such a way that it won't come off easily. As a result, when you open the package, you won't have to deal with glitter mess.

Q: would this fit a 6 year old, weighing 42lbs?

My daughter is 5 and 35 lbs. and this still fits her, but there isn’t a lot of extra room. The wings are also quite small. I’d suggest finding a larger fairy costume for your daughter.
