Frankly speaking it works as well if not better than the OEM filters and are much more economical in cost. Used these for my espresso machine for 8 years without issue.

Effective way of controlling rodent infestations
Our home is next to fields full of mice and small animals. These pads are excellent on keeping the mice out of our house and are both easy and use as well as very economical.

Absolutely blocks the water flow
The knock-off filters look right, fit the water reservoir nicely, but utterly fail to allow water through pumped by new Gaggia Brera in perfect working condition. The pump moans and struggles... water flow is reduced to a few random drops. Basically useless. Others claim water blocking after a brief period of flow. Some say only one of four is bad. Either way, quality control is the problem, and I'm not willing to tolerate this inconsistency. My expresso machine is far too expensive to repair to risk these substandard units.

The filters seem to work, have been using them for years.
Works well, have ordered a multiple of times. Price is a bit stiff.
