Just as good as the Caddy BC
I decided to order a box of these instead of the Caddy BC clamps. I've used about 40 of them so far and they work great, just like the Caddy ones, but 1/2 the money. The 1/4-20 threads and right on, as is the smaller, threaded hole. I think it's a #10, but I know the screws I use in the Caddy ones fit this one fine. One point to know, the included screw has a 10mm head, so make sure you order a few extra 10mm sockets since we know how those just disappear!

Works great, just like a more expensive caddy.

Caddy Copy: the strength would be there BUT the thread for screw is TOO SLOPPY
The BODY of the clamp has the strength but this copy of Caddy threads are too sloppy / loose, as you tighten the screw, it works its way sideways & it never tightens, it falls off. I cannot trust these for anything above people's heads, which is the main purpose. Fix the tolerances of the threads or screws & I'd order these all the time.

Poor quality.
Almost half the price of the Caddy BC beam clamps so I bought a box. We use them by the 1000s so cost really matters. But they require a 10mm socket on the screw heads which is strange for a 1/4-20 screw. And the Phillips slot is too shallow to tighten well with just a screwdriver. Lastly the threads are sometimes missing - just a pre drilled hole. So when you go to thread in 1/4-20 rod or rings you can’t. Very frustrating when you find out atop a ladder. I would still use them to save money but my guys are rebelling so it’s back to Caddy unfortunately.

1/4-20 hole strips out quite easily.very rough using these and we pull cable every day for a living
Holes strip out easily when adding threaded devices to them. They don’t hold to beams very good at all
