Satisfies sugar cravings and leaves no awful aftertaste....
I absolutely love this stuff! Don't get me wrong, it doesn't taste as good as real sugar - when is fake ever as good as the real thing? -but as far as these things go, IMHO, it is the best tasting substitute there is, bar none. My husband and I are both diabetics with a sweet tooth, so needless to say, we have tried every variety of sugar substitute known to man and, so far, we both agree that this one tastes the best, and is the only one that doesn't leave a horrible aftertaste. That's not to say it doesn't leave ANY aftertaste (I personally am left with a lingering sense of sweetness in my mouth) but nothing that makes us want to scrub our mouths out after eating. Obviously, what tastes good to some may taste terrible to others; everyone's sense of smell and taste, not to mention their ability to comfortably digest different foods, varies. All I can offer is my opinion and experience with this product. For me, the first bite/sip or two of anything I've used Swerve in has a noticeably 'artificial' sweetness which then more or less disappears (my tastebuds get used to it, I suppose?) and after that, I really wouldn't know I wasn't eating real sugar. My husband has even said that he sometimes feels he gets a sugar-like rush if he eats too much Swerve. I have used this product to make cream cheese and chocolate icings that taste decadent, particularly to a diabetic, and I have even been able to make my favourite shortbread cookie recipe using this stuff.....I have read that some don't find Swerve as sweet as real sugar, but I don't personally find that to be true. I actually find most sugar substitutes much, much, sweeter than real sugar, but this one (thankfully) is NOT cloyingly sweet; I use it in exactly the same ratio as real sugar. So far too (and fingers crossed our luck holds) neither of us have experienced any digestive issues with this product, as apparently (and unfortunately) is the case for some.Bottom line: thanks to Swerve I can still enjoy baking and both my husband and I can still enjoy food/drinks which satisfy our sweet-tooths, without adding any sugar. Without this icing sugar substitute, in particular, we would feel seriously deprived!

No aftertaste (for real!!!) and blends like a dream!!!!
OK so THIS is the most amazing sugar substitute out there!!!!! If you're doing low carb, Paleo, Keto, or anything else that requires lower carbs, this is what you need to make an occasional sweet treat. I made Keto pumpkin spice cake (yummmm) but I thought it needed icing (it reminded me of a carrot cake... and what goes best with carrot cake but cream cheese icing!!!!) so I made some... I made Keto cream cheese icing with this stuff and it blended like a dream!!! It was so smooth, no grit, and NO AFTERTASTE!!! For real... I couldn't believe it. Whoever came up with this is a genius and from the wonderful world of low carb and keto... I thank you whoever you are!!!!!

Tastes amazing - perfect for baking
Love this stuff. I can make the most delicious desserts like cheesecake and have zero sugar or carbs. It tastes just like sugar and has no weird chemical aftertaste. Perfect for baking this one. They make a granular one as well, if you do not require an icing sugar or confectioners sugar substitute.

This seems like the best calorie free sugar replacement
I've tried a lot of different sugar replacements as I am sure you have. The ultra fine Swerve is easier to dissolve than the regular crystals which is good. It's erythritol so it is considered safe for dogs so when you have it in something you've made and the dogs grab it, you don't have to panic and run to the vet. I've stopped stocking anything that is dangerous. We don't buy anything with xylitol or even raisins or grapes now. In terms of taste ... it's okay. To me, it doesn't match sugar and the things I make with it don't taste sweet like sugar does, but maybe that's in part because I don't add enough. It doesn't really seem to be 1 to 1 with sugar. That said, it's the best of the sweeteners I've tried, you can cook and bake with it and it has no calories. While it works in baked goods, it isn't great for making ice cream because you end up with rock hard ice cream.
