SHIMANO Grx Fc-Rx600 Crankset

Oh man this is SWEET
A bit heavier than my Ultegra crankset, but the gear ratio allowed me to take the 11-40 pie plate off and put my 11-32 light weight cassette on. The trade off was perfect with the 46/30 and 11-32. Price point is spot on and I like that it is black and not all shiney like the Ultegra. Perfect for gravel grinding!

Works Well But Expensive
I own a steel-frame trail bicycle which came with heavy wheels and slightly tough crankset at 172.5 mm. Among upgrades, I purchased this 170 mm GRX. Much more comfortable to peddle, bringing gear inch down from 28 to 24, and relieving my left knee pain.Problem: after purchase (not cheap), purchaser is told a special GRX derailleur is most probably necessary--an additional one hundred dollars with installation. Nearly three hundred dollars for a trail bike crankset and front derailleur. I am 77 years old, so it is a necessary investment for comfort and hill climbing; your calculations may differ.

Works great for me
Be sure to pair with a GRX front derailleur. The rear derailleur and levers can be 105's. That is what I am successfully running now.
