Just what my mother in law wanted
We had this delivered to my inlaws in Phoenix - my mother in law had mentioned she wanted some and we live in Arkansas - Amazon makes it so easy- I've always liked these too but getting spoiled now to more authentic ones- still when the mood strikes this is comfort food

Love these things...but they are usually not available in my local supermarkets (2) so I went this route to get them...I remember years ago when they came in glass jars...

Missing the candy see what happens.
2 of 3 orders came in perfect Chicken and Tamales no dents in cans, good exp. date, and all three have same UPS shipping # but first (Ginger candy) of 3 that had extra $9.99 cost for shipping and handling still shows that not been delivered, it’s a very extra costly item for small light package of ginger candy apx. 4 oz for reasons I don’t fully understand why there is extra ship charge for that given item, as of now have not receive the Ginger candy portion of order.

Hormell Beef Tamales
Well the choice for canned tamales is limited so these are a desperate tamale withdrawal. The first thing is WHO is packing these? They used to be all lined up in the can, NOT one smashed in the end of the can and the rest on top. Also a few of the cans had flat spots on the cans, (thay were NOT on the out side of the pack) so I'm guessing it was done at the factory and factory packed! Now as I love a good tamale, and have never made them myself, I'm thinking it's time to learn. The tamales I'd get off the street vendors in Tijuana were big, hot, and delicious. But my landlady made homemade that were out of this world every Christmas when LA wasn't a 💩🕳 to live in, but a great place to live and work, BOY ARE THOSE DAYS GONE FOREVER! SO are thay edible yes, are they something you'd serve guests NO! But if your craving a tamale it will do!
