Well built torch, just OVER advertised (doesnt stand up to claims)
Let me begin this review by saying i have only had the torch for 2 days currently, so if anything shall chance in the near future, i will update with more information.let begin with the pros-- the build quality feels really nice, all metal construction, with a nice weight to match.- handy wrist strap allows it to feel secure at all times, no risk of dropping it on accident, but i think the torch would be ok anyway.-rubber seals on all screw connection for the water proofing, not tested in rainy or water environment, but i have no doubt it would be able to hold up to the elements just fine.- large heat sink behind led chip (shown in picture) will keep the torch cool under use, i have left it running for approx 10 minutes max so far, and it didn't seem to heat up at all.-2 year warranty and replacements for broken parts (or so they say, i dont know if they would back this up or cheap out)-nice looking design, looks strong and tough, without being too bulky.Sadly, we now move onto the cons-- first thing i noticed, is the brightness, the claimed lumens of 2000, is a very very very far reach, i would predict this torch to be around 500 lumens? maybe, i can only compare it to a old 250 lumen torch i had before it broke, and i would say this is around twice as bright. it could be more, but i sadly dont have anyway of testing this.- the screw mechanism to zoom in and out, can be a little "catchy" some times, it just gets a little hard to turn sometimes, but i am predicting this is due to some sort of water proofing? not too sure though.- when i received this torch, inside the box was a user manual, and one of the first things said was, "if the spring is broken contact us for a replacement" (something along these lines anyway) it is good that they do have such a good warranty service, and you can contact them for a replacement (not contacted, so i dont know if they would actually back this up or cheap out), but it isn't a confidence booster for a new purchase, to know it has a defect of springs breaking.overall, i would recommend this torch for the price, it does have a decent brightness to it (even though the claimed brightness is drastically over advertised, from what i can tell), and it is a nice torch to have with you, small enough to fit in a pocket, but big enough to provide a firm grip.the water proofing seems to be very good also. and overall it just has a nice look and feel to it.i have provided multiple pictures off different locations, and different power settings of the torch and the different zoomed focuses. also pictures of the torch in its individual parts.

Very Bright! Carful when using!
The torch is quite hefty, takes 4 x AA batteries - which are not supplied with the product.Beam cuts though mist and fog, so carful where you direct it as it can and will blind drivers and other road users.Great for dark country roads at night, the strobe effect is very trippy and could set off epilepsy - its pretty fast (like I'm having my own rave haha), it could do with being slowed down a tad.Adjustable beam, just twist the top carful not to grab the base as you can accidently open up the battery chamber!Fits in a "big pocket".Great for my use.Thought the company was a bit stingy on not supplying batteries, since most things come with batteries nowadays but that's the only gripe. (not everyone lives in a place were they can get batteries with ease, no local shops and have to wait a week for grocery shopping/online shopping to arrive). And if you need a torch this powerful, its usually because you live in a rural area - with no street lamps.

Very sturdy and very bright.
I think that this torch is really great. It seems well built and has a good weight to it confirming that is made from suitable components. The normal brightness of this torch will be suitable for most people and applications. The brighter setting is very bright.Added to this, the 3rd "flashing" option maybe useful to alert people that you need assistance.Whichever setting you choose to use, the beam can be focused from a nice wide area down to a much smaller size with it remaining waterproof.Being a high brightness LED torch the battery life seems endless. The only thing I don't like about the torch is the on/off button which is bright red.It doesn't need to be this colour, black would have been nicer and when you really need it in the dark, you can't tell what colour it is anyway.I bought this originally for the car, leaving it in the glove box for emergencies, but I think I will be getting one to have around the house as well.

Lasted two years and one month before it broke ...
Hefty and well made (well, maybe). Very bright - you could easily blind yourself by looking into the beam, so don't do that - one a dark night outdoors you can easily illuminate things several hundreds of yards away. Reasonable cost too. Those are the good points. Now the bad one - it lasted two years and one month before it broke and would not switch on properly. It would switch on sometimes and then other times not at all and then eventually never. As with all torches like this the weak point is always the switch mechanism. I've previously had LED Lenser torches that lasted 6 years (and then broke because of the switch mechanism) and then a second one that lasted less than 2 years (and then broke because of the switch mechanism), and now this torch which lasted just over 2 years (and then broke because of the switch mechanism). What is wrong with companies such that they can't design a reasonable switch? Do I recommend this as a torch - no.
