I like the realistic look of the flame. What I don't like is trying to read the bottom and getting the bottoms on and off where you place the batteries! I find that difficult and the plastic doesn't seem to be very strong so I have to be careful. Water got into a couple of them during a rainstorm and I can't get them to come back on. So don't allow them to be where they can get wet. So glad they enclosed extra batteries because the first one did not work. Other than that I am very happy and I would buy them again.I love that my remote works with my other flameless candles and because of that I will order more!

Liked: real flame like candle appearance - thought it was very good. especially for people with kids, pets, or who have mobility issues / fine motor function issues with their hands. Plus they sent along extra batteries. Disliked: battery life. Some of the batteries were almost dead. Installing the batteries was a bit difficult and they came with no instructions on how to install them. The flicker of the flame on one candle in two complete sets malfunctioned, nut all in all I have no real complaints.

Although these look great. Having a remote was bonus BUT if you turn them to the on position and you turn them off with the remote they go into standby mode (waiting for the remote to turn the back on) which drained the battery. I used them three times and the batteries were dead. It came with a second set of batteries which was nice but now I can’t use the remote to control them or the barriers drain away between uses. Not I’m my pictures they are not lit. Batteries were dead.

I have found many uses for these and ordered a 2nd set when I realized how much I like them.Even though the picture doesn't show it they do flicker like wax candles.The only problem is the battery life on the first set. There are additional batteries included which was very helpful as well as an offer of 12 more batteries if the batteries included gave any problem so a win-win from my point of view.10/14/20 Upgraded to 5 stars because I did get a 12 pack replacement set of batteries as promised. I only have mine on for 4 hours at night which helps with battery life. Still use batteries quickly but I like them enough to replace the battery and you can buy relatively inexpensive batteries on Amazon.

Although the tealights were very attractive, the battery life was horrible! The first batteries only worked a day on the timed schedule of 4 hours. The second set of batteries although not on a timed schedule and only used for a few minutes a day also died after a few days. I had ordered two sets. So disappointed !

Nice candles…short battery life

The candles are nice and pretty, but they move like the minute hand on a clock. Very deliberate and synchronized, unlike my other smooth moving flame candles. They come with extra batteries, which is good because 1 out of 3 didn’t work upon opening. ( I didn’t check the others). The timer is a great feature. I think it’s a matter of taste ( no pun intended), b/c I didn’t like them. They are also pricey. I’m returning them.

These things look great in a white opaque mason jar. To leave out by themselves on a table they look pretty cheap. You can see the wiring inside easily if you’re looking above from the top of the candle. The controller function works great though! I’d still highly recommend them.
