Works well but you gotta be prepare when you turn it off because it'll take off!

The instructions for the installation of the tines written in the owners manual is completely wrong. If you follow the instruction manual the tines would be interlocked. Since I know what a cultivator tine set up is supposed to look like I figured out the problem with the instructions. Then I found a video of the tool being used with a good shot of the tines in motion which confirmed the error in the installation instructions. I have not yet used the cultivator. Just completed assembling the tool.

Description stated unit comes with 2.0 AH battery. Vendor claims Description was an error caused by someone else. (sure)Description has now been corrected. I gave the unit as a gift. So can't return. The vendor nor Amazon will make "good" on this transaction. Kobalt products are great. This distributor is about the worst. Amazon admitted the "catalogue" showed unit comes with battery... but I still can't get the battery. Something strange going on here and I'm not letting this go. I have all the documentation I need to take this further. (Those batteries are expensive!)

Please take note that although it says in the description twice that a 2.0ah battery is included, it IS NOT.

I’ve used this tiller for two years in a very large garden with terrible soil (rocky clay). It has held up really well under these trying conditions and is still going strong this spring. Very impressed and would recommend to anyone with a decent sized home garden.
