Great value, high quality dock/hub
Bought this to simplify connection to my laptop (ASUS Zenbook S 13 UM5302TA) down to just one USB-C. Instantly worked passing power, USB keyboard/mouse, gigabit ethernet, and card reader. Tested with Linux (OpenSUSE Tumbleweed). Found a second use for it on holiday, to connect a Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ to HDMI on a TV. Video output was stable and also allowed the tablet to charge. Build quality seems decent, size is compact. At this price range it's almost an impulse tech buy as it has so many uses.

Plenty of ports for everything you need, and everything runs smoothly. Build quality feels premium and durable, as expected from Anker. Perfect for boosting productivity at home or in the office.

Beautifully Made USB Hub with Lots of Functionality
Bought this for use with a Dell XPS15 Laptop which was a bit lacking in USB ports other than USB-C meaning I couldn't connect some devices I already had. All works really well. One thing to note, if you're using this with a Dell laptop: To start with I used the Pass-Through power cable so that I only ever needed to connect one cable to the laptop. The Dell XPS complained that it was slow charging as it seems Dell laptops need more power, even so, it still seemed to stay full charged while being used. However, after a few weeks the laptop pretty much stopped charging altogether when being used. So I plugged the original adaptor back into the laptop but it still complained so clearly something had got 'upset' by using the pass-through. Had to leave it switched off and on charge overnight to get the battery back up. Had to use Dell's support to get it working again. So, if you're using this with a Dell laptop... don't use the Pass-Through on this Hub. Connect your Dell charger to your laptop directly

Nicely made, reliable USB-C hub with nearly every socket you would want for an affordable price
I have tried other cheaper brands of USB-C hub and although they were cheaper they were poorly made or didnt work as promised and were tempremental. This hub works great, its nicely made and works as promised with plenty of connections to suit even a demanding user. I have mine wired up and using the below perfectly: 1x Display port 34" 1440p monitor 1x HDMI port 27" 4K monitor 1x Wireless Keyboard & Mouse (Via single USB-A socket) 1x Wireless Plantronics headset 1x Logitech Webcam 1x USB-C laptop power supply My advice would be to not go too cheap when buying USB-C hubs as you get what you pay for, Anker makes nice products.

Great space saving dock
My main objective when I purchased this USB hub was to replace a laptop docking station. I bought Anker because I have used the brand before and the devices are always of a good quality. Pros: - much smaller footprint - fully functional - good value for money Cons: - The Hub failed within weeks of arriving, but it was replaced without any fuss and replacement unit is working perfectly. One of the reasons to buy good brands. Bear in mind: - As the Hub takes 20W of power, the power supply that works on your laptop, may not work if plugged through the hub. The 65W original lenovo power brick is enough to power a thinkpad laptop through the hub. However, the PowerAtom III only delivers 45W on PD, so you cannot use the hub to charge. What would I improve: - The USB-C cable coming out is a bit short for my taste. I'd prefer if the hub came with a PD-out port on the hub and a lead you could plug in. This would allow you to replace it with a different length if preferred. - Who needs the card readers? All USB hubs in the market have card readers but very few people need them. It would make more sense to have an additional USB port instead. - I seem to struggle to find a power supply, 100W, with USB-C output that is reasonably compact and priced. I'd love to see something like the PowerAtom III on a 100W version. Conclusion: I can now have all the cables nicely tucked away with a single lead out of the dock into the USB-C port in the laptop and I am very happy

A bit tricky with MS Surface laptop in power delivery mode
Seems to work well for my monitors and USB, but there was a catch. It looks like the hub reserves 25W for itself all the time in power delivery mode. So what I did not expect is that the Surface 5 laptop showed a "slow charge" warning saying the voltage is lower than it needs. Anker pro-actively contacted me and the fix was to buy a USB-C power supply with more wattage (100W in my case).
