I use this for my starters, and it works very well for that. I like the small size because it is practical and easy to store. I also like that I can reseal it, which helps keep it fresh. The fact that it is organic is a needed plus.

this was so much less expensive than you get at the local supermarket. we love rye bread and i make it almost weekly, this flour makes a bakery quality loaf of bread.

We love black bread. And this particular flour is just right for us to get the bread we like. Using it in a bread machine, I add most of the flour as this one, plus a little wheat flour. I also feed my sourdough starter with this flour. I've bought this brand countless times already. Completely satisfied.
