I bought this rug but after reading reviews I tried to cancel it. I am glad it was too late. I love it. It works for me. I have three dogs and I wanted something that I wouldn't mind if they made a mess. I could wash it or even replace it. This is an outdoor rug but it is beautiful. Yes it is stiff and yes it took about two weeks to finally settle. But I love it and my guest can't believe it's an outside rug. I bought a smaller one for the entrance. I think I'll buy another one for my porch.

I was leary about ordering this specific carpet runner and color since it had received a lot of bad reviews. Many customers complained of poor quality (e.g. glue stuck on rug, runs in the stitching, or missing loops in the stitching. I've now purchased 6 runners and none of them had these defects, so either I got really lucky, or Safavieh has improved the quality. I was actually impressed with how durable the carpet seems, especially for the price range. The color was definitely darker than the online images, but I was expecting that from the reviews of other customers. I actually love the dark grey color and it matches the paint we chose for our stairs. We painted the woodwork around the stairs white, as well as the risers and painted the steps dark grey. The beige color matches our walls, so this was the perfect carpet. I used 1/2 padding to put under the runner which gave it the perfect amount of cush. We also installed brushed nickel stair rods for a nice cosmetic look. Please note that stair rods are not meant to be the only means of securing the runner. It HAS to be tacked down. I used an air gun stapler with 1" staples which did the trick. One additional helpful note is that I was able to remove all of the stiff wrinkles in the runners by steam ironing them. Use the lowest iron setting though. The material will stick to the iron if you use the higher heat settings.

I guess "indoor/outdoor" doesn't apply to actual outdoors? Three months in and my blue rug is just about thread-bare leaving blue dust/fuzz EVERYWHERE. Really bummed I spent so much money to try and spruce up my tired looking deck and now it only looks worse out there. Seeing a lot of complaints about the folds (which go away, just give it time) but no one with my problem. Bummer. Will have to trash and go to Target I guess. Very disappointed.

Buyer beware I received this a month ago purchase it for our new place and when we moved into our new place on May 6 I opened it and noticed there was a little tiny black streak I was like oh I was like whatever and so we laid it down put our bed on it and then today a month after receiving it I will help with moving the red around and noticed two small holes in the rug so being that this rug was purchased April 16 and the return window closed May 16 I contacted Amazon to discuss what can be done because I have noticed these issues with this rug and poor craftsmanship and after looking at other peoples pictures I’m not the only one that received a poor craftsmanship item so Amazon told me to contact the The manufacture via email or phone call so I emailed the manufacturer sent them pictures screenshots of the purchase date everything along with my name address phone number and the manufacture will not take any form of responsibility the manufacture didn’t offer any form of warranty on this rug they pushed me back to Amazon and I even told him I’m outside the 30 days so just buyer beware if you do purchase something like this make sure you inspect it really good before putting your bed or furniture on top of it in my case I purchased the bigger version of this area rug and my dad sits on top of it and it’s just too much for me to move my bed off the top of the steak area rug and find someway to get it ready to ship back to Amazon so if you notice any issues with it when you receive it I recommend having Amazon come and pick it up immediately because the manufacture will not do anything

When I first put this rug outside it was absolutely gorgeous. It sits under my gazebo, under my outdoor dining table on my deck! Put it out in May looking just like the picture .....perfect! By June it was showing wear and starting to fade.....and now, I hate it and it has to go in the garbage!! The rug itself is VERY nice. Thick and well-made. The issue that I have is that it IS NOT red. I understand that red is subjective and that computer screens will show colors differently. In this instance, though, I would say that calling this red is not reflective of its true color. It is RUST. I understand that rust is a form of red, but when the description says red, I expect a true red. Just something to keep in mind if you get the rug. Beautiful - but its RUST.

I love this rug! I ordered it for a runner down the middle of my kitchen, so needed something that was durable and almost like an out door rug (ie: not like a plush living room rug that would soak up stains) but wanted something decent on bare feet as it is a kitchen. It arrived on time and in tact. I was nervous because of some of the other reviews said their items arrived with glue spots, etc. but the item I received was perfectly fine. I had to roll it out face down and weight the edges with books for a day, as it came coiled up quite tight and did not want to lie flat at first. The books worked like a charm and by the second day it was completely flat. The color is a true slate grey which was perfect for my kitchen and the lattice design is definitely a tan/beige, not a true white but again - it worked for my kitchen. We have had it for four months now and it has held up very well with rain and snow boots trekking on it in a high traffic area and also with a dog. (He actually likes to nap on it while I cook). I have spot cleaned it a couple times from drips here and there, and it comes clean very easily. The ONLY tiny downside is that it is not super easy to vacuum. Little crumbs and fibers want to stick into it, but with a little effort or a shake out on the back patio crumbs shake out just fine. Overall, It was the perfect purchase for what I needed. I searched high and low for the right "kitchen rug" and there are a million out there but I am so glad I purchased this one.

Le tapis est très joli mais quand il pleut, le dessous prend un temps fou à sécher. Le matériau est plus de style plastique que tissus - si j'avais su, je ne l'aurais pas commandé.

I placed it on the balcony and it has considerably faded in two months. Aside from that, pretty strong and has held up ok.

The colour on the colourfast round indoor-outdoor rug that cost $157.89 looks like this extremely faded after 3 weeks on our deck. As you can see the square rug is not fading.

It makes the deck look like an outdoor living room. Lots of great comments and super easy to keep clean. Just sweep it off and you're done.
