I love these clips! The colors and the finish are so pretty. I love the variety of colors. They are durable and can hold your hair in place without losing grip. I have full but medium thickness hair so not sure how it would be for those with thicker hair. I added pictures to show the clips themselves may look a bit large and to show they can hold a decent amount of hair back.

BUYER BEWARE - there are 2 things you should know about these. 1) the colors are completely different than shown on Amazon and 2) they are very cheaply made. I ordered the 'original' colors and they are great - so I wanted to get a second set. The first set are higher quality than these.

I have regular/medium-thick hair, chin-length, with a lot of flyaways depending on the weather. On ponytail days, these clips are fantastic for securing the shorter length pieces in the back of my head. Nice matt colors in a range that works with a lot of my clothing. I love these barrettes!I had purchased a well known brand and I was extremely disappointed in them. I searched and made sure I was looking for barrettes that were 2 inches long or longer.They had good reviews so I purchased them. I am extremely happy with this set of hair clips! They have a matte finish, which is different than any other hair clip barrettes I have ever used.Very happy with my purchase.

The price is what attracted me to this item, as well as the matte appearance. It is perfectly oversized and doesn't shine, and the colors are even more stunning in-person. However, the plastic part at the end of the hair clips tend to get stuck in stray hairs & it makes removing them difficult. Had to apply scotch tape to *each* hairclip (tedious & time consuming) so it won't get stuck.Also, in terms of utility, it doesn't do a great job of holding back the hair. If you have thin hair, they tend to dangle from the hair strands instead of adhering to the scalp like bobby pins. For the price however, this design flaw doesn't come as a surprise.Overall, they are a great, trendy fashion clip that is well worth it for the price. If I had a few more peas to spend, I would invest in a higher quality clip.

I purchased these as a stocking stuffer For my 12 yr old daughter this past Christmas. She loves them! They are a little large,but easy to use and look really cute.

I recently cut my hair and needed clips so that hair could stay out of my face. These are super cute! I get compliments on them every day that I wear them. They will make you look more youthful, so I avoid wearing the brighter colors to work. I took off stars for two reasons: 1) hair gets trapped between the metal clip and the colored shell, I have to take the clips off carefully and 2) they don't have a strong hold for thick hair, unlike a bobby pin. You can try and bend it more so that it holds hair tighter, but I these are not non-slip.
