It was very easy to replace the battery but I had to push the two angled sides in a bit to make it fit in the watch. Other than that it works great and a lot cheaper than buying a new smartwatch. The tools included are nice quality and worth keeping for future projects.

The battery works well. My watch now holds a charge the same as when it was new. My battery had got so bad it would only hold a charge for about a hour. This replacement battery has a foil around it that made it too big for my Gear S2. So I had to fold the foil to make it smaller. It was difficult to install. I watched YouTube videos to see the battery replacement steps. The ribbon cables are very small, I needed a magnifying glass to put back together. It was difficult for me because the watch mechanism refused to come out of watch housing. I almost had to force it. It would be very easy to break the watch trying to replace battery. However I had nothing to lose since the watch wouldn't hold a charge. If you install this battery into a Gear S2 take your time. Watch all the videos and go step by step very slowly. Make sure to change battery in a well lit area. Also if you have shaky hands it might be very difficult. As a side note, the provided tools worked well and were of decent quality. Remember to take your time if you change out the battery, or you will probably break the watch. It took me about a hour. My watch almost lasted 4 years on the first battery. I will see how long it lasts on this battery.

They gave you all the tools you need with the kit to perform the task. I suggest having a lighted magnifying glass as parts are small. Only downside was you had to pay good attention to the disassembly as there were no reassembly instructions. Their instructions said to check their website but they only referenced smartphones there. All in all, I am pleased. My watch lasts 2 to 3 times longer than with my worn out battery.

The product came packaged very well and had all the tools you need. Would like to have seen the plastic pry tool be a little more sturdy.Also the connector did not have adhesive nor did the battery.The battery was decent but could be better tapedOverall decent quality but could be better

I followed the instructions from a YouTube video and got my new battery installed in less than 5 minutes.My watches battery life went from about 5 hours to an entire day with some life left (I put it on the charger at the end of each day). I'm glad I didn't have to get a brand new watch. Very pleased with the product.

Has all the tools you need, add to your electronic tool selection for future use. Instructions clear. All I can recommend in addition it to make sure you select the Gear battery that matches your particular watch. They vary, as I found out the hard way.This is a follow up a year later. Battery has been very spotty on taking charge for last 8 months. Now at point it must be replaced again. Original battery was good for 4 years before needing replacement.

My wife went from charging her watch 4 times a day to just once every 3 days. The instructions did a good job of relaying the important info. The process was simple enough, just make sure you have good tools. The tools that came with it were a little small for my hands.
