I got these to help organize the inside of my Kelty 65 Trekker hiking pack. I thought they would be soft, supple netting like all the other mesh suff-sacks I have for various pieces of equipment. These are almost green scratch pad abrasive, and I was worried they would cause undue friction wear on the inside of my pack. My solution was to add a thin nylon laundry sack as an internal liner, and then go ahead and use these since I had nothing else. I think they would be five stars if they used a softer material - but they are really almost like monofilament fishing line type material as far as how abrasive they are. I give these a total of three stars because the value, the size is perfect, the overall quality of the construction is appropriate to the cost, and I really like the color-organizational design. I really want to give it four stars as it is - but the abrasiveness of the material completely blew my intended use-case.

I'm happy with mine, so I don't understand all the negative complaints. Maybe some weren't sewn well so they unraveled? The fabric is tough, not silky-soft like you may want for travel.For the past three years I have gathered acorns to feed the squirrels around my apt. building. The first two years I used plastic gallon zipper bags, but the nuts kept molding because there was no airflow and I had to wash & dry them several times. I needed another system and after looking at a lot of canvas & mesh bags I ordered these.October 2020 I filled seven of these with over 5 lbs of acorns each. Because of the poor reviews I was afraid the bottoms would fall out. But after pulling their drawstrings tight, I picked up each bag around the opening with one hand and gave them a good shake. NONE OF THEM FAILED.After 4 months I haven't noticed any mold and the bags appear to be holding up fine. The fabric is perfect for my use - I need it to be strong & durable, not soft & flimsy. Plus I got a dozen of them for only 13 bucks!

I purchased these bags for our scalloping trip. Unfortunately, few minutes into using them, with barely a couple of scallops in them, 4 of the 6 bags we used came apart. The next day, same thing again. Terrible quality.

These are great! The mesh isn't too fine, so I think clothes actually get clean. The drawstring seems secure. (This is important to me - my washing machine eats baby socks when they get free in the wash... Best case, that means the baby socks are lost to the septic. Worst, we have to dismantle the washing machine!)I bought these thinking that I might use some of them for storing toys (for instance, a stacking towel set with a lot of pieces, or a build-a-pizza set). They're perfect for that! You can easily see what's inside the mesh bag, which is what I care about when storing toys.Great bags! Very happy.

My wife bought these for camping and they performed brilliantly!We put a good mix of items in these bags from mild to wild: Rain gear, water filter, dive masks, wash clothes, cooking gear, food, fishing tackle, hygiene items, shoes, etc.What I like most about these (aside from the great price point) is the durability. Our metal camp stove has lots of rough edges and these bags held up without taking any damage.They fold down very small and are very lightweight.At approximately a dollar per bag you just can't go wrong with these.I hope this helps you make a smart purchase! These are perfect for many uses. I purchased them to use for potato and onion storage. They are also good for delicates in the washing machine. To keep the plastic from banging around in the dryer, I tuck the plastic in the bag before “tightening” the drawstring. Great for many uses.

The material seemed tough, but I put a pair of sandals in one of these to keep them separated from my clothing as I packed. I got to my destination and there was a hole in this bag caused by my sandals. No sharp edges, buckles, etc. on my sandals, so my concern is that how quickly will they fail with anything else I put in them. I'm going back to using onion bags.

I bought these to help me clean (the corona virus) all the manipulatives and toys in my classroom.They seem to be perfect. I gave them a 4 because I have t actually had them for more than 2 days. They have just hung on my wall and have not been used through the washing/sanitizing process yet
