Do Not Buy!
I originally purchased a pair of these a year ago and they worked very well. I just bought another pair and they both broke within the space of fifteen minutes, crashing my remote flashes to the floor. The screw holes that mount the metal bracket to the plastic portion stripped out completely. These were brand new, first time use and they were absolutely garbage.

This product has a design problem
At first glance this adapter looks good but an easily fixed deficiency is immediately evident when you try to use it. As shown in their own product photos and in my second photo, a standard 1/4 thread mount will not screw in far enough to get the adapter flush with the supplied double ended mount or the mount on your equipment. This means all the torque applied to this adapter is loaded on the brass insert which is press fit into the plastic base. Or, worse yet, the 1/4 stud of your mount hits the plastic at the end of the insert and binds into the plastic and the adapter spins freely making it useless. This is a poor design. I fixed mine by drilling into the plastic through the brass insert and then extending the treads into the plastic base with a flat bottom 14-24 tap. Now anything I screw into this sits flush with the much broader flange distributing the torque load (see picture 3). It's sad but this mod would have only cost the manufacturer and extra penny in the factory.
