Element SoakerPRO Soaker Hose, 50' Length, 3/8" Diameter, Black

I bought these hoses to water my house foundation during a drought, but I have used them in the garden as well. I love being able to just set them in place and forget about them. I have mostly used them with a timer connected to a regular faucet. I have two rainwater barrels that have caused a lot of frustration because I couldn't get them high enough to work with the garden hose. I recently tried the soaker hose with one of them and was thrilled to find out it works!

These were easy to string out, easy to clean, did the job quickly.

Nice for soaking but remember these are not super durable. Especially as they age, so don't be rough with these.

The hose seems to be good quality. This was my first summer to use soaker hoses. Don't forget a leader hose. It will conserve a lot of water. An update would be to provide one w the soaker or to have it built in. Not a deal breaker.

I bought two of these soaker hoses. Both have leaks like the one pictured. It affects the flow of the water. They drip super heavy near the front of the hose and then barely even get wet at the end. Ineffective inefficient and complete waste of money.

I want to love this but I don't. I have a small garden which means I have to weave this hose back and forth through the plants. It is not at all flexible and gets kinked. I have to check for kinks shutting over the water to plants further down the line every time I use it. I want to return it but it took so long to lay out that I am hesitant. One other problem is that a lot of water is wasted because of the inflexibility in order to get it where I want it, I've had to maneuver into places where I don't want water.I thought this would be better than a plastic hose but now I'm doubtful. I've read that recycled rubber often comes from tires which have been exposed to all kinds of toxins. :(I would not recommend this.

High quality, and dispenses water through the tiny holes very well... enough to get the job done (watering) within a reasonable amount of time, without washing away diet, etc.

Mine is connected to an automatic water controller that starts at sunrise and can be set for a variety of time periods. Saves me hours with a watering can.
