It’s the little things
At first glance, a well made and well designed apron. A closer look reveals that they need to work on final inspections. The apron’s waist buckle - a 5 cent piece of plastic - was warped and thus unable to close. I sent it back and the replacement arrived with one of the shoulder straps twisted. No big deal, it took me a few minutes to undo the rather complicated strap arrangement and reassemble it. But it would have been an easy thing to catch had somebody been paying attention. Also, the stitching on one of the pockets arrived ripped open. Again, no biggee but could have been caught. It’s too small a thing to go to the hassle of returning it (again) but is not ideal. The waxed canvas is heavy and good quality. The design is awkward however - getting it on and off requires some gymnastics.

Good trim apron.
I bought this primarily for trim work because in most situations a full work belt is just too much and without something the tape measure is other there and the combination square is somewhere else and you are in the middle. This apron seems to solve that problem nicely. When I first opened the packaging I thought I'd bought the ugliest bra ever; there seemed to be straps and buckles everywhere! However, everything sorted out without much trouble. There are two shoulder straps and two cross straps. I put the upper one up high otherwise the shoulder straps will slide off. The shoulder pads in the picture are just this side of useless. They contain no padding whatsoever or anything to keep them in place. I finally pinned them down with safety pins. The fabric is nice and heavy and the outer edges are double stitched. I'd like to see all the stitching doubled because I know something is going to pull loose eventually. The hammer loops are adequate but I have to look to hang it, it's not automatic like with a metal loop. The upper chest pockets are great for pencils and nail sets and a utility knife. There are two narrow pockets on the right side, perfect for a wood rasp or two. Unfortunately I'm left handed and will have to see if my wife can stitch something in for me.Overall I think it's a good product. The guy I work with occasionally saw it and plans to buy one for himself.Product update: I've had the chance to use the apron for a few more weeks and there is one feature driving me crazy. The lower back strap is not of equal lengths. The attachment clip is on a long strap on your left side. The attachment buckle is on a short, 3-4" strap on your right side. All this means your left arm has to reach almost the whole way behind your back in an attempt to shove the clip into the buckle. Add some heavy clothes if you're working outside and the task becomes almost impossible to do by yourself. Plan on working with a partner or getting the right side buckle strap replaced with something longer.

Nice apron but stitching is weak
Comfortable, good pocket space, great for shop work. Unfortunately the waist belt stitching broke the first day I wore it. Should be a relatively easy fix.

A very good shop apron
Shop aprons are very much a matter of taste, everyone has a different view of the perfect apron. In my view, this apron has the perfect number of pockets and enough material that it is still comfortable even when the pockets are loaded with tools, fasteners, etc. The length is just about right, if you get one that is too long, it gets in the way when you need to get down on your knees to find something you have dropped.I was initially skeptical about the waxed canvas material, having used denim and leather aprons in the past, but the waxed canvas is really quite good, it seems to stay cleaner than denim and it's not hot like leather. In conclusion, this apron isn't perfect, for example, I wish that the pads on the shoulder straps had more actual padding and I wish the straps were a little more substantial. All things considered, this is the best shop apron I have found to date.

I am a carpenter, with multiple trades that I do, this especially comes in handy when I’m working on a movie theater that I have extra package to hold lightbulbs and supplies in the apron

Shoulder straps slide off easily
The apron is a sturdy, well made piece of gear. I love it except for one thing: The shoulder straps slide off my shoulder when moving around. It doesn't matter how much it is adjusted, one side continues to come off the shoulder. I purchased a piece of elastic strap which I am going to cut to length and attach it to both the left and right sides at the top along the shoulders. This should keep the straps from rolling off the shoulders.

Lots of pockets
The fit is a little too loose, especially at the shoulders. Otherwise very good

Hammer loop a little small
I'm wearing this daily it's been great the pockets are spot on very comfortable and ez to put on and I'm disabled the only problem is the hammer loop is not quite big enough and because of that it started coming unstitched the first 2 or 3 days of wearing it but I would DEFINITELY BUY AGAIN
