Helikon-TexMen's Beanie

Great beanie for the price. Kept me warm in the wind and is lightweight enough to stuff in your pocket. Looks great, holds its shape and fits snug while being comfortable.

I have owned this Helikon hat now for some time and have worn it during some very cold days and nights. I tend to keep my hair on the shorter side and this hat always does its job even closer to the 0 degree mark. I keep it inside of my Helikon L7 jacket for easy access when I may need it. This hat can be neatly folded and stored inside of mostly any pocket you may have. The pocket in the hat itself is silly in my opinion but may be useful to others for storing small items. This hat is quite comfortable and will keep your head warm when you need it to. Great for emergency bags and general usage!

I like that it'll accept a velcro patch. I wish it was a little more female friendly; it has a more masculine cut to it and is harder to wear unless you have your hair down and are prepared for it to stay flattened to your head.

I am hard on hats so was surprised that this has survived so well. Stains like grease have, so far, washed out making the hat look almost new after laundering. It also hasn't shrunk and still fits. Another thing I like about this style of hat is that it doesn't ride up like a regular knit hat. Hmmm, now I need some different colors.

Lost my USMC beanie and this comes in a close 2nd to it. Very warm and form fitting for my bald head.

The only reason it's not getting a higher score is because the hat is quite small and barely covers the tops of the ears and because of the fake Velcro spots on the hat. Why on Earth would you not just put Velcro instead of a fake patch?

I like it. Seems to have a pretty high warmth value for being light and thin. Just don't expect it to be the equivalent of a thick wool watch cap. You can put a patch on the front or back. There is also a zippered pocket on the back. Not sure what a person needs that for, or would even put in it, but ok. Suppose you could hide a handcuff key in there. It's not very noticeable and people wouldn't expect a pocket in a thin hat... The areas for the patches on front in back will allow a typical American Flag patch to be attached. I personally feel that it looks kind of dorky with a patch that large though because the patch does not to conform to the curvature of your head. I put a small size nametape and a similar size "cateye" patch on the back and those bend around my big melon better. Great hat with out of the ordinary features for a reasonable price. I like Helikon stuff.

I bought this hat for 4 reasons:1. I can apply whatever morale patch I want on the front AND back (Same size "loop" patch on front and back) (Hook part would be your patch)2. It has a waffle pattern on the exterior, so it's a bit different.3. It came in OD green, which I like4. And it has a little zippered pocket on the back, which you can barely see (For maybe some cash, ID cards, etc).Nice hat, fits to be expected. Warm. Looks good.

Die Mütze ist in einer sehr guten Qualität verarbeitet und passt bei einem Kopfumfang von 55 cm in Größe S bis M perfekt. Der Klett auf der Vorder- und Rückseite ist perfekt für Patches, einer der beiden Klett ist auch eine kleine Tasche (z.B. für Kleingeld auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt😅) . trotzdessen dass die Mütze sehr dünn ist hält sie erstaunlich warm.
