Great reproduction of factory windshield seal
I have not installed this yet, as I intend to do so maybe next year when I have time and money to paint my CJ5. Rubber seal is soft and is one piece like factory. Mine is original and is very cracked up but doesn't seem to leak, so I'll wait to install as mentioned above. Great value on hard to find item

Great price
Windshield repair company had a great price for the glass and labor, but eanted nearly twice as much for the seal. They actually asked me for the link so they can order in the future.

Poor fit cost me a windshield
I took this seal and a new CJ frame to a professional windshield shop to have the glass changed out. The fit was so poor that the glass got jammed in the frame and even though the shop cut the seal, the glass still broke. It's a shame you have this poor of a quality item for sale..

I bought this along with...
PPR Industries Replacement glass 304741075GTN and had a horrible time getting them to fit but I don't know which to blame for not fitting, or if they are not compatible. I installed the rubber on the glass with no problem but when it came time for it to test fit down in the windshield recess it was about an 1/8" to big all the way around. I didn't want to deal with returns so ended up cutting the rubber down with a 4" grinder very carefully to make it fit and I ended up happy with it other than I could see some grind lines.I installed it on a factory windshield frame from a 79 cj7.

Cowl rubber seal fit good. This Windshield Glass Seal fit good
Purchased a Crown Automotive J5758971 Windshield Frame for Jeep CJ as a replacement for a 197 7 CJ7 . Bolt holes lined up perfectly. No issues with the frame what-so-ever. Also purchased Omix-Ada 12302.03 Cowl Rubber Seal, and PPR Industries 304741075GTN Replacement Glass Windshield For 1976-86 Jeep CJ7, and this Omix-Ada 12301.04 Windshield Glass Seal. Cowl rubber seal fit good. This Windshield Glass Seal fit good, however, the windshield with this seal did not fit. Had a glass installer ground off 1/16 or so around the windshield to make it fit. After that everything fit fine.

Windhield Glass Seal
Using the glass seal is so easy my wife could install it! This is number one for me. Attempting to use other similar products just doesn't cut it...
