OMG IT WORKS
It totally works, I was so worried with the reviews but this thing is awesome. I opened Stepmania and setup the controls (as easy as selecting the name of the button then step on the pad) and then it was ready to rumble. I downloaded DDR 3RD MIX songs and I play on Easy and Medium modes and didn't have an issue with the pad sliding around on my hardwood engineered floors. Dynamite Rave is scored a 5 and it did move a little on the corner to corner jumps, so if you go crazy on this thing and do hard levels then you'll for sure need a rug antislip or something underneath. I'm still gonna get something even tho it barely moves just for accuracy. All in all, 10 out of 10, super stoked!! I'm 12 again! Haha.

Garbage
The pad works as far as buttons. But it is definitely not non-slip. I can't even play because the thing moves so much. Save your money, don't be me. Buy the better pad. Even duct tape cannot save you from this piece of 💩. Maybe if you bought a separate foam mat, some plywood and a stapler gun but I mean at that point just buy the more expensive mat. Will be returning. Hate this thing.

Best softpad I've used thus far!
I've recently purchased 2 DDR Foam pads both 80 bucks each... they both broke after 1.5 months.besides not lasting long in comparison I'm seeing even when they weren't fully broken they were no where as sensitive as they should have been. This pad is super sensitive and it seems to work perfect out of the box and on day 2 as well... in fact I just got AA scores on 2 different songs for the first time ever!!It even has a programmable button in the center (Which the other pads I bought did not)The usb cord isn't too long and the dock where the cord sits looks like it can be pulled out very easily (Be careful)It's very nice how they give you a copy of stepmania, I'm just gonna give it away but its appreciated.Sidenote: The instructions for pad use are in English but not the best English so I'm sure one of us would have no problem revising it for themIf you have the ability to get hardcut foam or any flatboards you can to put underneath the pad will honestly make it that much better.I have 2 layers of foampads underneath mine atm and it feels almost as good playing on a cabAlso this is one of the cheaper pads out there and its worth the price, I'm 250 ish lbs and play on heavy and trust me this is a good pad as long as you can tape it down etc.I'm actually gonna order a 2nd pad right now so I can try doubles again

Low quality but works okay
It works fine, the mat quality is just not great and I doubt it'll last very long. It does slip on hard floors even though it says non slip. I guess it's fine for the price. It's easy to connect and set up.

Not for the faint of heart
This is a great pad if you use it right and have the right software. If you just want to get your kids dancing on Stepmania or Etterna this will work. Once you proceed to intermediate play I suggest taking 1/2" or thicker plywood, tracing the pad, and cutting it out with a jigsaw. Then use double sided carpet tape to tape down the pad and duct tape around the outside edge. All told this should only cost about $50 but massively improves the quality of these pads.

Decent starter dance mat.
The price for the mat is very reasonable and good for beginner. The mat is a little bit slippery, some padding at the bottom might help. It works right out of box with my steamdeck and running Project Outfox. I wasn't sure it would work as very limited data online, but it works flawlessly. Would recommend if someone wants to get into DDR.

It Works!
It took a bit to figure out how to get it to work with Stepmania (you need to go through the options and manually map each "button", and then you have to go through the audio calibration sequence), but ultimately it works great for cheap Quarantine DDR. Having used a mat like this in the past, I do expect it will probably lose some responsiveness in a couple years, but for the price you can't really beat it.The included disk was nice but ultimately useless as I do not have a disk drive -- however, as stepmania is free software, it's not even needed. My only wish is that the USB cord were a little longer!
